Frustrated IM newbie = crosshair TARGET for gurus

Hi Warriors,

Please help me move faster. I'm broke going more broker every day.

I've been at this IM stuff full time for awhile. I have accumulated a decent bag of skills and I am even a member of the war room.

I know how to design websites now among other things... like a bit of copywriting and marketing

BUT SH** I CANT MAKE MONEY ONLINE, D*** IT!

I think I have been buying too many products. I have followed through on some, but I still have not made money. I paid 83 dollars for a coach and I made 0 in return. I paid 35 to learn technical skills.

what the heck is wrong with me? Can the pros help me out?

There is no clear cut answer, especially if no one knows what you have done so far.
I do know that products and tools are not a solution, but an aide.

What are your goals? Do you have a business plan that steps out your way to those goals? How about a marketing plan? Your business is only going to be as good as your plan. No plan outside of untested WSO's? Then that pretty much sums up your business. Build it and they will come does not really exist.

I believe you'll need to give some details on what you have done so far before anyone can help you much.

When you are first starting out I suggest working towards a functional level of knowledge across several different areas, rather than looking to get specific skills highly developed. Also like Ken above me said, don't forget that this is a business and needs to be treated like one. Every business has a front end and a back end. It seems like you are more susceptible to the front end of things as you have been purchasing several IM products. But behind the flashy landing pages and whatnot is a strict "back end" of the business. Make sure you have a good grasp on both for your next IM attempt and good luck!

How long, exactly, and how many sites/projects do you have started? (Not asking to reveal your sites, but just trying to gauge what work you have done so far)

Some seeds just take more time to start to grow...

The Warrior Forum can be a great place, but can also be VERY dangerous.

It's MUCH easier to just keep learning about new methods than taking action on a provven one.

Learn a method, GET OUT OF THE WARRIOR FORUM, and crush it. I've found the more time I spend here, the more WSOs I end up buying (that I don't really need!)

Love the CRUSH IT comment. I agree that while the WF is a wealth of information, for a new and soon to be (newbie seems negative to me) it can be intimidating and overwhelming. As a new and soon to be, I understand this as well as anyone!

    Hi guys,

    Thanks for your feedback.

It has been about 4 months of solid IM learning so I'm super glad to hear from you guys down the rope

I think my plan is not clear, that must be it. I have nothing written in paper and I think up what to do per week, and it keeps me focused on one task only.
I have a traffic issue, and I build very little backlinks, organically.

Here is what I've done: 4-5 sites, no revenue.

I've successfully set up some sites for adsense (but no revenue, no traffic, haven't built backlinks.)
I've set up a site for amazon associates (no traffic, couple backlinks)
I've set up a site for sale (flipping, but no buyers yet)
I mastered things like wordpress and cpanel, and modding templates, etc.

So Either I have a marketing problem, no traffic, or both. I think I'm on the cusp but I just can't pinpoint it enough. I don't have a written business plan I don't have since I thought it was too tedious, but maybe that would help focus me down to a couple methods at a time.

Thanks for helping me think things through these things guys!

      Hi ehawkmarketer,

      4 months!!!

I have been at this for more than 3 years, with a few small successes here and there, but no Gold bar yet.

But I have one or two ideas that could be turned into something viable, time will tell.

But l also did what some of the pros, mentioned and have recently set up a Business Plan, Financial report, (2 year cash flow, budget, etc) and can say that it does help, but probably isn't necessary.

Just finding something that works, is the top thing, then you can budget and do cash-flows till you are blue in the face, to make sure that cash-flow doesn't cripple your business.

It may take you a few months or a lot longer, but since the internet is a big place with a lot of interesting ideas, if you keep at this regardless of what anyone says, (negatively speaking) then you will make it.

Amit from PPC Classroom, got there in about 4 years, even though he had several setbacks, that had him in tears at some points, and now he is a millionaire.

I would recommend doing something in the background, so in a years time if all else fails you have a backup plan in place.

100K Blueprint, is the most viable thing l have come across recently and even though l am still testing it out, l believe that it works, and that it may give you a backup plan for some or all of your sites.

      Good luck.

      Shane

I think your problem is LACK OF FOCUS.

You have several Adsense sites, an Amazon site, and you're flipping sites.

You're spreading yourself too thin, dude!

I suggest you pick one viable business model - it doesn't matter what, just pick ONE.

Also, build your sites one at a time as well.

A well-built site with no traffic won't get you any money. Spend 25% of your time writing content/building your site, and 75% promoting it (through backlinks).

I suggest you make a checklist of the entire affiliate marketing business model (from site creation to traffic generation).

You mentioned about having done a coaching session. So what was it for then?

Another thing, are you following a course (any IM course for that matter), or are you trying to learn it all on your own (which you CAN DO with all the free info you can find on the internet)?

Stop buying stuff!! Take all the skills you've learned and build an empire, if you have to spend one more penny it should be on outsourcing.
