The Secret to IM Success??? BE JUST LIKE A SPIDER
So I was outside with my friends last night and I noticed my friend was standing really close to a HUGE spider web and the spider was chilling right in the middle. I told him to watch out before he walks into it, he backs up, grabs a stick off of the ground and swiped the spider's entire web into smithereens.
That web was the only thing the spider had. Now, the thing that really motivated me and made me change my perspective is directly after my friend destroyed the spiders web, not even 2 seconds afterwards the spider got straight to work building its web again. And, I mean this web was gigantic. The spider witnessed his most prized possession crumble to pieces and he didnt even think twice before getting back up and getting straight to work to rebuild its empire.
In order to have success in the IM field or in any field for that matter, you have to refrain from throwing a pity party for yourself when things fall apart and IMMEDIATELY get back up and get to work. If that spider didnt immediately get back to work he would be missing the OPPORTUNITY to eat! When you get knocked down, fail at a campaign, lose money on advertising, go years without making money at IM, you do not have the time to pout about it, you have to brush it off and accept that it happened and bounce back.
