What Do Most Newbie Marketers Struggle With?

I was curious to know what most newbie marketers struggle with. Is it technical things like building blogs or websites! Is it learning the different marketing strategies or mindset and self development. To be honest you don't have to be a newbie. Everyone has problems that need solving and I just want some feedback. What are your challenges?

    Taking action. That and over-complicating things. Newbies tend to read voraciously, to the point where they don't know what to do first. So they do nothing or very little.

    I remember my biggest struggle was with who can I trust; but my wife thought I struggled with addictive shopaholic behavior from buying every offer that found it's way to my wallet. :-)

    Newbie here. It's definitely the amount of methods to choose from and which is "best". It's taken me 1 month to find what works for me. I HATE quitting, so that's why I stuck with it. But, sheesh, for other people I can definitely see why they would give up

      Trust me I know how you feel. My husband and I were very close to quitting. But I'm happy we kept with it. Not to offend anyone but JOB'S SUCK!!!

    One word! PROCRASTINATION
    That's why many of us struggle to earn money because of this and that includes me. Until one day I found a website that teaches me as a newbie to focus and learn the basic skills of Internet Marketing.

    Im a newbie, only been grinding away for a week or so. There is a lot of new information and its amazing fun at first. Guess after that initial excitement the reality of the massive amount of info to digest sinks in. Add to that the knowledge that it has "been done before" and a feeling of "ive missed the boat" and it can seem a daunting mission.
    I am struggling with website building, i built a crap landing page via a walkthrough, then tried to build a site with a hosts sitebuilder. Then i bought a turnkey and am trying to market that. Thoughts atm are that i will outsource website design in future and focus on marketing well.

      For me, as newbie, it's over-analyzing (analysis paralysis) everything then not taking any action, especially during the research phase.

      I would spend hours researching product or niche, getting keywords and such only to find that it's too competitive or not enough traffic. Instead of going for it, I just move on to something else.

    For me it was finding the right method that worked for me... I tried a few methods and just couldn't stick to them because they didn't suit me at all and I had no motivation... finally found something that suits me. And discovered I can outsource the stuff that makes me lose motivation...

    Picking the right niche/keywords has also been a challenge for me, as has gaining traffic. I've been building websites since I was 12 years old so the technical part of it was the only easy part!

    For me, still a newbie in my mind, I have been completely overwhelmed with choices and methods, none of which have worked for me. I have trying three different methods (with some parallels) and stuck with each of them for one to three or four months, and only once have I made a penny from any of these methods. With one channel, I make about $22 every six months. I get so discouraged by this that I quite regularly and only come back when I'm eating slices of plain bread for weeks at a time, like this week. I have no idea how others make this work out for them and I'm digging around the forum to try and figure it out and try again for a fourth time...
