How you make yourself to be more discipline?

Hi all, just wonder how is your discipline level out of 10?

I believe most of us might have discipline challenge right? And I believe if we can settle this discipline issue we can acheive even great things in life.

Brian tracy said, all successful people a high discipline and commitment. So I just need some of your ideas, normally what you would do to improve your discipline level?

Thanks!

discipline is not sexy at all, yet certainly always pays great dividends. it is too easy for someone to make a claim and suggest "that is the way you have to be". wrong. we ALL have a different set of hierarchy of values. there are 7 areas of life, and our childhood "voids" help form who we are today. the key is learning what IS vastly important to you, (that will never change) and anchor your business or financial ventures to that item. i do not care what car, house, clothes i have, money is a low value to me-i DO care what cars, houses, clothes my wife and kids have to learned to anchor making money to my family and made millions. money is still a low value, family is still my highest. where your time and money easily flow is where your high values lay. friends-social, church-spiritual, family-family, your career-vocational, reading, learning-mental, going to the gym all the time-physical, money-financial.
you already are a millionaire in your life, according to your values-it may be your family or friends, you may not trade them for billions? billion dollar wealth then you have! when you do what you love, you do not need discipline. you are already successful too. you are doing "you" perfectly, and cannot mess it up. my discipline work ethic wise is an easy 10, but i must have been made that way, i cannot take any credit.

Discipline comes from our heart and mind.. It's the act of handling behavior problems, so if we can control our behavior we can also have good discipline.

As Jim Rohn "Accept the disciplines and you would transform your life "

The word discipline scares the crap out of people. But it is not terrible as you think

Make it easy for yourself to succeed with your new disciplines

it could as easy as reading 3 paragraphs a day if you are avoiding reading

it could be as easy as commenting3 strangers if you avoiding rejection

It could be easy as creating one video a day if you are avoiding product creation

MAKE IT EASY . MAKE IT ACTIONABLE IN 10 MINUTES OR LESS and do it EVERYDAY until get over your fear

if you do , you won't believe how much your life will transform

by the way the examples i gave are my real world examples

if this has helped in some way , please Hit the "thanks" button

    Cheers,

I am pretty disciplined but can goo off at times. I have been like this since I was a kid. Later in life to crank up the discipline I did the following...
      1. Create a morning routine that you follow for 1 hour each morning on working days.

      Mine is as follows....
      1. Wake up
      2. Read daily affirmations
      3. Brush teeth and floss
      4. Drink a tall glass of water
      5. Run 5K
      6. Do a 10 minute meditation

By having a routine like this, I find that I get the day off to a great start. It's also is an act of discipline which sets the frame for the day. It's easier to stay disciplined if I build momentum when I wake up. If I don't do this routine, I find it harder to stay disciplined throughout the day.

I find that discipline with one task or group of tasks will help build your discipline muscles so you can use them with other areas of you life.

This was very helpful for me I hope you can find some use for it also

A lot of coach tell us to build up a new habit, we need 21 days unbroken commitment action doing the same thing at the same time, then it will become our habit and will do it automatically, and is consider discipline

Have you try this before? Sometimes it is challenge to keep on moving within 21 days. What do you think? Thanks!

    1. Make a plan, like time management, what you will do, etc, etc
    2. Just do it

I use an awesome free tool to help me stay on target. It's kind of like a time management tool on steroids! When I use it I'm more energized and focused on making things happen. The free tool is at simpleology.com and is by Mark Joyner

I actually experienced disciplining myself today.

I realized that when I was not at work in the past I would still work on my smart phone or iPod Touch.

So in order to make my "free time" literally "free time", I went to the Sprint store today and purchased an old flip phone. Funny thing is I could have gotten an HTC EVO for free. But I took the bull by the horns and paid $20.99 for a phone that literally can do nothing but call and text. I can't check my emails, update my Facebook, nor can I do anything else that deals with being online

I am going towards the ultimate goal of getting rid of most "small" electronics from my life other than my laptops. The reasoning for this is because I want to keep work at work and when I'm free, I want to be able to maybe call a friend or call for an emergency, and that's it.

Well to be disciplined is like having a new set of learned skills, you learn be disciplined. Either you are taught, or you learn it yourself (the hard way), either ways, you stand to gain. You can start by watching yourself (lean about You- self awareness), know where you stand.
Start that journey by improving upon yourself from where you are... It only takes determination. and remember - One step at a time. "Rome wasn't built in a day"
