Noob makes Over $200 in 3 Days!!!

Hello Warriors,

I'm fairly new to Internet Marketing but not the Warrior Forum lol...I would sometimes stop by here to check out what everyone was talking about and etc but I never signed up for an account for some odd reason! Shame on me!

But Im here now!lol

But I wanted to make a post to share with you all my success that I experienced at the beginning of the month. I also would like this post to encourage anyone else who maybe new to Internet Marketing!

Well I signed up for an Clickbank account in June of this year and was eager to get started! But there was one problem! I didn't know how! So after a long stretch of searching and searching the internet and etc I finally came across a program that i believed would help...

(I'm trying to make a long story short! Bare with me lol)

Me being sort of a Noob I didn't know if I should participate in this upcoming product launch that I was interested in or play it safe and find a normal product of interest and promote it...

Me being Me! I chose to participate in the launch lol so I implemented the steps the program stated. I put my site up at the beginning of July and I critiqued my review site all the way until launch day...

The day after the launch I had checked my Clickbank account and there sat $182 and then the next day I checked again and there sat $20...I was excited because for 1 really didn't know what I was doing and for 2 I am a Noob!

But If you are just starting out in Internet Marketing...be patient and take your time...do your research so you will get the best results...generate the desire to HELP OTHERS and the funds will follow...and most importantly if you do buy a software, program, etc you have to take ACTION or it will not work! and also do not buy every program that jumps in your face!

Questions For The Experts :

1). Ok! I have my review site up that i used in the product launch but I still need my own site...when I do get my own site up and running do i need to just pick 1 niche and surround my site only around that certain niche or can I have different articles promoting different products on my site?

2). I do indeed desire to become a full time IM'er...So should I attempt to find a "Guru" to teach me the ropes or should I stick with other sources such as the WF, Google, books, etc...oh yea I heard about a course called Wealthy Affiliate! whats the insight on it?

3). I'm going to be very blunt with this question here...but what is the secret to achieving great success as a Im'er? whats the secret? What does it take to literally earn five to six figures a month?

4). Will you all help me with the 3 above questions?

I hope this helped someone

Thanks you all!

1- I think it would be better if you focus on one niche first. Master it. Then, find a new niche.
2- You can find a mentor, but you can also join highly recommended membership sites like Bring The Fresh.
3- The secret is persistence, persistence, and persistence. Don't ever give up, and don't ever turn lazy when you see a bit of success.

    I hope this helps

I believe i went a little to far when asking for the secret to success in IM
when it is really self explanatory...

but your saying base my new site on 1 niche master it and then build a new site for a different niche?

      thanks for the advice...

I would start creating review sites focusing on just one product, sniper sites. Its easier to get them on top of google and traffic is also more targeted.

I think IM need persistence very much!!
    Not waiting fast results!
So newbies have to learn a lot before going into that field from others specially successful marketers (not failed Articles about IM!! )
wasting time on not working IM strategies lead to frustration and may be you decide to find something else to make money from

I think Warrior Forum Is the best place to find encouragement and good opinions

Choose the one BEST product in your niche. Don't go after the commission or the money you can make from a product. Just find the products which interest you + have a good search volume.

If you run for the products which give great commissions but don't interest you, you are gonna waste your time at the end. One can be successful doing the tasks which interest him.

Do both..Since you have already had success with the mini site, you know it can work so rinse and repeat with new launches (by the way, there are many new items to promote /review beyond clickbank -even physical products).... all the while building your multi product site which without paid traffic, will take time..but keep building. You can learn all the techniques here on WF and I have personally found the war room membership to be of great value.

yea I was thinking about doing some more launches since I know how to get some results...like u said rinse and repeat...
And without paid traffic it will take a little while hopefully not to long...but as I bring in income from the launches or other promotions I will reinvest the funds into paid advertising accordingly...
Im going to have to check out the war room membership I ve heard cool things about it!

      Thanks Turpen

I just want to hop in and state that maybe you shouldn't focus on "paid" traffic in any form Paid traffic is great, but people tend to spend too much time learning how to get cheaper traffic, then actually promoting the website.

If you focus on "free" traffic more than anything else you might just get a looot further. Heck I've had single articles that were used all around the web and brought in traffic nonstop all day. Best thing is, that article took me 5 minutes and it will bring in traffic for months on its own.

But the same can be said for anything. Any source of traffic (if used properly) could bring in traffic for the long-term which is then considered "passive".

    Hope this helps

You Dude.... Congratulations for taking action.
That's not how I made my first money on the internet, but that is definately how I made my second, third, fourth, and well you know the rest.

Now it's time to analyze what you did. Then do it again. And yes you can build review sites, but becareful. Unless you are dealing with an Evergreen Launch ( someone who runs their launches continuosly.) You might want to do some research and pick another hot niche or product to push.

      Marc, your answers

1). I think it all depends on the time you have and your expectations. promoting only 1 niche is much easier, if you're beggining on affiliate marketing

2). if you find a good couch you can make it really faster. But if you go this way, try to study a bit before hiring his/her services.

      3). the secret?

After some time I don't believe in this "secret" anymore.

That's just an illusion smart gurus used to sell their products
and made us believe we needed them to succeed.

What really works is getting the right information
and putting that in good use (ACTION!!!).

Here you can have some hints:

The Warrior Forum - From $0 to $500K in 2007... Step by step

and here you can have some more:

The word "noob" can refer to many different types of people.

While in the internet marketing world, it may mean that they are "new" to the experience and don't have much knowledge.

When it comes to video games (where I usually hear it), it can refer to anyone who doesn't excel past others in experience as well. Or quite simply, someone who is a complete idiot

There are many different variances of the term, but you can find out more here: Newbie - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Oh and just a note, Google is our friend. Use it
