How do you handle the anxiety and/or blues?

Hey Warriors,

I'm a full-time Warrior with 2 years experience. I made the jump in April of this year to finally kick-the-job to pursue this full-on and it's a great life with all the benefits I wanted when I started.

My main activites are offline consulting, list building and affiliate marketing.

Don't get me wrong, everything is fine money-wise and I'm loving the experience however, I do get days where I have the 'blues' and I'm really anxious as to how long this experience will last.

I've got no reason to think this, (maybe I fear the 'real grind') but it's the anxiety in the back of my mind that says "****, what if the government bring in a new law that stops affiliate marketin", or, "Crap, what if Google dies of death" etc <<which I'm well aware that it's probably total poop but I can't help what I think. Maybe it's the come-down of the high I'm always on because I'm enjoying every minute of this IM life.

Any tips guys to help me through the blue days?

Can you relate with me?

Am I going nuts? LOL

~Russ

Perhaps have some contingency plans worked out to help ease your mind. Many business plans for offline business have these and they would be appropriate for online businesses too.

    Hi Russ,

You are definitely not going nuts - it's natural to have these feelings, especially when all is currently going so well and you have left your job. Well done on that by the way

You have already started your IM business in the correct way by working on several different income threads so if you did happen to lose one at least you have another to fall back on.

Everything changes in life, things improve, new products and services come onto the scene and the majority of people can adapt to that - if there are any issues with Google, affiliate sales etc. I'm sure there will be something that can be done to overcome it and the Warrior Forum will be the best place to be for advice and information!

So if you're having a blue day - welcome it (don't dwell on it though) but at the same time look around at what you have got, what you have achieved and think about the knowledge you know. I'm sure the bad feeling will disappear as quickly as it came.

    Hi Russells.

Something I learned from Susan Jeffers "Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway" (which I practice often) is this:

    "Whatever happens,
    I'll handle it!"

If you think it will help you, write down the affirmation and place it somewhere you will see it everyday. Because, if you think about it, you pretty much have handled everything that's happened. And I'm sure you will in the future too. : )
