No offense, but that seems like a fluff piece. Who wants to become a millionaire over 30 years? Don't get me wrong, those are sound financial tips, but your income will make you a millionaire, not some secret spending or saving tip.

Even though the piece is slow and shows snail-like results, I KNOW for a fact that every Genuinely Wealthy person out there used some of those principles somewhere along the line. As it yields firm results on the long run, and it also seems safe.

The key is finding the balance between the 'SLOW' principles and the rather 'Quick methods' of acquiring wealth - knowing when to deploy either one.

In my opinion, the way to get rich is to work hard & save.
Business is a great idea to become one.
Not saving for your whole life so you reach a million dollars by the time you're 80, on a 600 a week income.

The principles she is talking about are from the book, "The Millionaire Next Door"

Statistically most millionaires do get their million dollars from slow safe investing, and that should be the BASIC STARTING point for every ones retirement.

As for a fluff piece, you can blow all your cash your whole life thinking that you are just around the corner from making a million dollars, then you reach the end and think, oh sh*t, I should have saved something.

tarad you are clearly young so I hope you take the advice in the video and use it is a back up plan/security plan so to speak and then you can still push to make your millions in the meantime knowing if all else fails you will still be set at retirement.

Forget the flash, save your cash!

Really is something inspiring, thanks for the share.

Something that I left the video with, was the 'It isn't how much you earn, it's how you use it'. Everyone can become richer this way, however most people are looking for the 'Get rich quick' scheme which will end up losing them more money. If people live under their means, and use it for the long haul, they'll end up wealthier. It's the truth, but people don't think this way, people will struggle with the second half of the 4th tip.

Now that i am older I wish i would have started saving when i was young but at the time I had a lot of fun and that is the problem with most people. When you are young you think you have plenty of time then when you realize you need to start saving it is usually a little late in the game.

My advice to young people now. Put at least 10% of your income in investments.

When money lacks you can do one of the two things:

    1.Increase income
    2.Decrease outcome

I see all the time people whining about never having enough money and they spend it
on many stupid and unnecessary things. If you can't earn more, but you should, make
an analysis of where the money goes and cut the leaks. This alone should make a big
difference, if rich people spent on things they don't need, they would never be rich.

It is true - people who are not rich spend their money more quickly than people who do have money.
