It all comes down to money....

but why do u want to earn money?? thats more important......

money is a poor motivator.....doesnt last for long....i

if ur reason to earn more money is strong then one can stay focussed in IM....

my reason to earn money is to support my studies....

      Regards
      Aniket

Freedom and lifestyle. Not answering to a "boss" that can fire you if he's having a bad day. Not worrying about corporate downsizing. Avoiding the stress of corporate politics, backstabbing and drama. Sorry about the mini rant.

If I want to wake up at 12 in the afternoon ... I CAN. Oh and the money is nice!

    superficially, financial freedom.

On a more deeper level though, it's actually that feeling of doing whatever you want to do and taking charge of your own life

For me are money and freedom. Money is what I need to support my family and give my kid the best I can.

The freedom with internet marketing career, is that we can work where ever we want, at the beach, in the cafe shop and so on as long as we have internet access.

I have projects I want to accomplish that need money outside of my normal earnings. Internet marketing gives me the opportunity to earn above and beyond my regular contract money I get for programming.

  • Robert Kiyosaki summed it up just nicely when he said:

"I don't want to work all my life. I don't want what my parents aspired for, which was job security and a house in the suburbs. I don't like being an employee... I want to be free to travel the world and live in the lifestyle I love. I want to be young when I do this. I want to simply be free. I want control over my time and my life. I want money to work for me.

Those are my deep-seated, emotional reasons. What are yours? If they are not strong enough, then the reality of the road ahead may be greater than your reasons."

    Rich Dad, Poor Dad

    That's motivation enough for me.

Money and financial freedom for me, too. It's a nice feeling when you can afford to buy what you want. You can work when you want and how much you want.

I have a slightly different angle here!

I immediately took to intenet marketing when I first found about it.. I was intrigued that here was a career path where I would make the decisions and decide when and where I worked..
And yes the money was also a deciding factor..

Now I enjoy teaching others and having finally established myself within IM, I find the money less and less appealing!

I still work way to hard to spend any of it.. lol

Im is a great journey (tuff at first) with endless possibilities, this is appealing to most I believe..

Have the freedom to do whatever I want.

I'm really not the type of person that is comfortable about getting a job to have a living and not living for a job.

Search and find out what is your motivator, remind yourself why did you start your internet home business from the beginning, what was the reason you decided to make this step and change your life, write this reason on a piece of paper and look at it every time you feel down.

The fact that I'm an awesome idea generator, can direct people to do efficient and worthwhile tasks, and absolutely suck at retail. *LOL*

Seriously, I've has a few jobs, and only lasted a few months at best. So I realized I had to work for myself, and after while realized that freelance writing was great, but didn't have the scope that I wanted.

So now I'm in IM - and while some days I think that trying to launch this huge undertaking that I've chosen is the most terrifying thing I've ever done, it is also the most exciting thing I've ever done!

I keep getting this fan mail from places like the electric, gas and phone companies. Although I've tried, I can't seem to get off their mailing lists.

I was already into the 4th decade of my life when I bought my first computer. I had no clue what I'd ever use one for. Little did I know that I could make money almost squirt out of a slot on the front. Who'd have ever thought that colored pixels on a TV screen could turn into cash money? Suddenly, I was hooked.

I've been at this pretty much full-time for most of the last decade. For a few years before that, it was a lucrative hobby.

I love not having to ever wake to an alarm clock, setting my own schedule, dressing as I please, (if I dress at all) drinking beer at all hours of the day and night and smoking in my office without any whining going on around me.

There are probably other motivations... I'll think of more later.

For me it's several things. But I like the Rich Dad Quote and it sums it up real nice

I want to be free to travel the world and live in the lifestyle I love. I want to be young when I do this. I want to simply be free. I want control over my time and my life. Freedom. This freedom comes to you in different ways. The freedom to go where you want and live in different places. The freedom to deal with clients and not a boss. The money you make gives you more freedom and the freedom in return gives you great experiences in life.

Knowing that how much I make, how fast I make it, and how much time freedom I achieve is totally up to me!!! There is no glass ceiling. No one to tell me what I'm worth. No going before the boss for a raise only to find out that you didn't get what you deserved.

If I work hard, I will be able to play hard. If I become a slacker, I don't deserve the best in life.
