Well, I'm doing everything possible for me to start making money online, according to my skills and my knowledge. I've setted up my site and I'm promoting it daily an affiliate product. Don't have sales yet but its increasing the average targeted traffic every day.

I'm doing affirmations and watching videos everyday to become successful, and to sow the believes "I can do it" and "I'm doing it" in my subconcious mind. Right now I really know that I can, I'm pretty sure that I'm approaching my goals every day.

But there is something that I've started to feel lately, there is something that is spinning in my head in these days. I feel like what I'm doing its ok, and I must should be doing something else to speed a little the process of accomplishing my goals and be more successful.

Haven't you felt like that? Or you just have these feelings in the months of december - january?

Luckily, after a lot of thinking, I got to a solucion. What I've concluded it's that I need a mentor.

To beat this feeling and this desire of wanting the things to speed up, I need someone to teach me how I can go to the next level. This mentor have to be in that level or greater levels, A.K.A making some money online or making a lot of money online.

What I don't want...

- Someone that give me a system to buy, and then the system require like 20 other things to work.

- Its that you give me a system or a process and then leave me alone to figure it out by myself.

- A mentor that gives a system or an affiliate site to promote. I have my own site and I'm promoting that with an affiliate product right now.

What I want its...

- A mentor that knows what I'm doing and tell me what I must do to get better results, like giving me task to do, knowing my current budget.

- Someone that can I turn to and ask; what I'm doing wrong? Should I do this? It is this the right way to do it?

- A mentor who is happy to share his knowledge and experiences with me, so I can learn faster.

I know there are a lot of people looking for this (some of these people don't realize it). But I know too that there are actually people looking to teach and have students.

If you are the person or know someone that fill all the requisites and wants to have a dedicate and motivated apprentice, please let me know.

Thanks to all the warriors for reading this thread.

Education is rarely FREE, if you want it for free you have to educate yourself the lonnng hard way. MAYBE.... you can get someone off SCORE who might have IM skills. Try that.

Your approach is the reason why you prolly don't make much from IM. Education can be free in many cases, but not to the likes of you who would rather get paid to give generic guidance.

There's plenty of people that are willing to work with the right people and show them the ropes of IM. Without charging them an arm and a leg. I'm disgusted with the amount of wannabe gurus who rip off good people just because they're vulnerable.

I'm willing to teach the right people and get them on their feet WITHOUT charging them. Why? Because that breeds goodwill and referral business.

I am not an Internet Marketer. I am a personal development and business coach (however, I'm just in start-up phase). My core competency is in the area of personal development, which is critical for any entrepreneur. Every aspect of personal development has a 1-to-1 relevancy in business.

Since I am in start-up, I would be glad to offer my services free of charge. It would be informal. My online coaching environment is not setup yet....so we would work by chat, email and phone.

If Internet Marketing skills are your only concern, then please choose one of the other people who have offered their services. However, if you want to go to the core of the problem and make progress in both your business and your personal life, send me a PM and we'll get started on it.

First I'm going to give you access to two of the best books available on line or off.

Please read the books, and I hope they help.

The Secrets Of The Ages . By Robert Collier ( you can find this book online for free or rent from the library)

The Silva Mind Control Method . By Jose Laredo

The book and the system have literally changed my life for the better.

You also must have patience. Do what you can do.

Often when I'm trying to acheive a goal there is no straight line. I often find myself going from A to H and Back to D exc. The best way to meet your goal is to do what you can. Just make sure that each day your accomplishing something and you do what you can.

Keep growing. You have to do what no one else is willing to do in order to get what most never will. Focus on your goals and put all thoughts of not getting what you want out of your mind. Your simply at step C and on your way to the finish line.

There is a war going on inside of each of us but only you can be the mediator that brings peace.

Your ultimately in control of your own success.

    Hi Kaysa,
    Wow, that's some order there!

Reading your request again, I feel you may not be entirely sure of what you really want...ie, What is the real business outcome you desire and what is your reason why?

Understanding the need for a mentor or guidance early on is a great advantage, but one thing most beginners don't understand is that it does really take time.

It's really not about being patient, it's more about knowing the path to be trodden and how long the amount of success takes that you want, on that path.

Do you know how many hours of experience gathering and implementing it takes to earn enough money to be regarded as a sufficient wage?

Following a well trodden road is a sure fire way to success and having a plan, knowing your reasons why, knowing how long each step along the way will take and exactly what is required, what the industry ratios are...these things are absolute musts. Otherwise you are blindly shooting in the dark.

I hope you find your mentor,
    Kindest and all the best...

Yes I know what you mean, I know I'm a newbie, and I know I have a long way before I reach all my goals. But I'm not that kind of newbie that doesn't know what he wants. I have my goals set up, and even share it in this forum.

      http://www.warriorforum.com/mind-war...3-my-goal.html

I have stated in this thread "I have a site, I promote an affiliate product".
"I'm doing affirmations and seeing subliminal videos everyday, now I'm at the level of constant-effortless-positive-thinking about all aspects in my life"

Listen, I was having thoughts about how I can win more experience in short time. I don't want to reinvent the wheel here. As you say I have to follow a well trodden road (this one it's probably the best reason to seek for a mentor at early stage). So intead of learning something that I can take a months learning it to do it the right way, I can learn from a good mentor the same thing maybe in less than a week.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and don't worry, these are just roadblocks to success, every journey to success has it.

Ok, so we know what YOU want...

    What about your mentor?

What are you prepared to do in return?

Have you thought about exactly what you are prepared to commit in order for a mentor to take you seriously?

I agree with Mary. You have to know what your outcome is and you need to know the right steps to take. Particular in Internet Marketing, because there are so many different things you could do...and every one of them require a specific skill set.

It also depends on your stage of development. Many people want to build a business, but often they are not ready yet. And there are many examples of this. You really have to understand what it takes to run a business and know whether you're at a point where you can move forward.

This is one of the biggest challenges I see and I agree with you here, rbarnhart1.

Most aspiring IM'ers have had no previous business knowledge or experience and most have not had the privilege of being an entrepreneur for that matter either.

So, they have massive learnings ahead of them, apart from learning marketing, which in itself is a 5 year Uni course!

And slick marketing people have the hide to bluff and blind them into believing "even newbies can do this"?

I think it's time everyone came to their senses and realized that if it takes 5,000 hours to gain enough skills to replace an ordinary income in the brick and mortar world, it still takes the same amount of hours in the online world too!
I have just been trying to reduce 5,000 hours into overnight, whilst sitting in a deck chair with a coldie, doing nothing more than watching as my PayPal account overflows with cash!

        Dang...it still isn't happening!

Looks like skills to gain are still skills to gain and time is time and 5,000 hours is still 5,000 hours!
Oh, well, back to the 3,000 hours and climbing area!

        Gotta love it tho...

        Kindest,
