My Thoughts On Motivation

This is my first post on the Warrior Forum. Here goes! My thoughts on motivation. My business is all so important to me because it is part of me and it is my path to provide for my family and for my dreams. That is my motivation. I have to get to where my heart and my mind are in sink. I am a real estate broker and have been for 24 years. It is a great business but I have found something I enjoy more and that is affiliate marketing. I am working very hard every day to achieve what I have in my mind. I know it is possible. My respect to all my fellow affiliates and marketers. It is possible to get there, one step at a time. You may get discouraged and feel that nothing is right but just look back how far you have come.

    Congratulations
If you have been a real estate broker for over 20 years, then I am sure you have what it takes to make it on the net. Persistence, understanding what makes people buy, and the ability to weather the ups and downs. So great to hear you have found something you love. Best of Success

I did something tonight that has me down. I should not feel that way but I do. I was posting a new blog on one of my website blogs. This website is dedicated to debt relief. The blog I wrote is good and I am very excited because I have comments about my writing and my content that are very positive so I wrote a really good blog about my review on if it is a good idea to pay off credit card debt with a line of credit. I feel good about it especially after having read comments on a previous blog. I submitted it and I went to a wordpress page that let me know that my blog was deactivated because obviously I did something wrong. At the end of the blog I put my website site links related to debt relief and my plug in profits site. That was it. My blog was deactivated. I immediately answered the section asking for help, but who knows when they will get back to me. I feel bad. I worked hard on the blog. I try to always do good work and not offend anyone. I hope I can get my blog back. I know it is a set back, but I will go over the bump or around, it may take time, but I will figure it out. Alway stay positive.

I understand discouragement ... but I also find within it motivation... Why? Because in every disappointment I learn something that helps me to improve and that excites me.

One thing you might want to do is create a WordPress blog on your own domain... transfer all of your articles that you have written to it and you never have to worry about your articles being cancelled ever again.

You can put links as you want and if someone is offended maybe it will spark a great conversation but you will be in the drivers seat

Sorry my friend about losing your blog. It's a hard lesson to learn but it's best to control your content on the Internet by having content on your own domain name.

I agree, and indeed it takes time to build a successful business and lots of efforts and sleepless nights, you probably know it better than me, yet it is worth it if you believe in your goals.

All I do in IM I do for my family. So anytime someone says to me - you should give up, I say to myself - I'm doing something for my family, so if you don't like it you can kiss my butt.

Marilu, it's by these "happenings" that we accumulate experience. I suppose most of us have lost valuable work until we remember to back up everything we do online. I know it took me several "losses" to get in the habit.

As was mentioned if you have been in RE for that many years you certainly can make it online. But there is a learning curve. Take your time but hurry. By that I mean don't take too much time. It is well that early on you have found a forum. This one especially because it has so much traffic. That's good for back links but also means you have access to people who are doing it right now. I pray you succeed abundantly.

Genuine motivation is derived from passion. You must be passionate about what you do to gain or maintain motivation.
So here is the bottom line; Your passion + having to fend for your family =
      Your drive to succeed.

WordPress.com is notorious for deleting blogs for infringing their terms and conditions, anything to do with business is fair game. They only want to host private blogs. Blogger.com can be just a bad, one day its there and then its gone. Well at least you only lost a post or two.

You need to set up a wordpress blog on your own domain, downloading the program from Wordpress.org.

Very rarely will they reinstate your blog, if they do I would suggest you move it immediately to a safer place.

One thing you will learn very quickly is to protect your work on the Internet take care when using anything that is free, there is always a catch.

Welcome to the school of hard knocks.

I'm glad your working hard to get to your goals, but always leave room for yourself. Time for family, vacation, or just taking a little break is important. I learned this the hard way. I remember working each day for 11 hours, for a month. Let me tell you, it's not fun unless you love what you do.
