Belief and neural pathways?

Hi ALL

What i have understood is that when we meditate or get into a relaxed state that is when we are in the alpha and perhaps theta state where installing new beliefs is easy. What i have also read is that when we create a new belief we are creating a new neural pathway and by doing this repetitively we will create a new belief.

Does this mean that when we try to create a new belief consciously we basically cannot create a new neural pathway?

Thank you

It's a new "neuro net". All these are connections of neurons firing together.

change 1 and the net is different, so a belief may be only a few new connections, but it is novel. You created it.

    my opinion

I like Dr. Joe Dispenza's conversations on this.

"neurons that are wired together, fire together"

No, it doesn't. Affirmations are an excellent method and we can use them consciously when we are fully awake, to great effect.
