The Missing Piece - Your Self Image
It's a pleasure to be on this forum. I've read a few topics around and I'm happy to be surrounded by smart and successful people.
However, I've saw a pattern repeating itself again and again. And this pattern refers itself to ...
"Why you haven't achieved success yet?"
Let me tell you something ...
- Goals are a part of success ...
- A positive mindset is a part of success ...
- Studying is a part of success ...
And all of these are acknowledged here. But you know what you are missing?
Who you must be to be succesful? The self-image!
Let me explain. If you don't feel worthy of achieving a goal, you won't achieve it. Why? Not because you are not good enough. But because you'll either sabotage yourself when you're close to achieving it or you won't take the action required to achieving it.
- You may have the money ...
- You may have the tools ...
- You may have the office ....
But if you don't feel worthy of achieving it ... if you still keep questioning yourself "who am I to achieve this?" ... if you feel inferior to others ... then you won't achieve it. It's as simple as that.
Your beliefs determine your action. Your action determines your results. Your results determines your beliefs.
So what can you do? Start questioning your beliefs.
- Eben Pagan isn't 100 times smarter than you ...
- Jeff Walker is not a marketing genius ...
- Dan Kennedy is not superman ...
They just believe more in their abilities and act accordingly. And even if you know more than them ... even if you are smarter, they are the results achievers.
Why? Because success is not a mega complicated equation. It's relatively simple, as long as you keep a consistent speed towards solving it.
And that speed is given by your self-image, what you think of yourself and how you act based on that image.
That's why you don't achieve your goals. It's not because they are not SMART. But rather because they are in-congruent with who you really are.
It's the fact that your goals are a "wish list" instead of an actual goal list. And no matter how motivated you are, you won't achieve $1.000.000 this year if you've earned $6/hour for your entire life. However ... you can set a goal of $1000 and achieve it. Then your self image will get better. Set a goal of $10000 and achieve it. Then $100000. Then your big goal.
Do you agree?
Do you disagree?
