"The Definition Of Courage ..."
When I think about being a “hero” I think of people like Captain America.
But an ordinary person can be a hero too. As Christopher Reeve said:
“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and in spite of overwhelming obstacles.”
If you have overwhelming obstacles in your life, you have the chance to be a hero. And, the feeling you get when you persevere in spite of those obstacles is amazing. (I know because I’ve overcome social anxiety, depression, suicide, etc.) As I wrote myself: “A man builds character through many trials, tribulations, and challenges.”
Often when we think of “courage” we think of people who are unafraid. (Like William Wallace maybe.) However, the truth is if you’re going anywhere in life, you have the opportunity to be courageous on a daily basis. Because:
“Courage is being afraid of something, and doing it anyway.”
Understanding these two principles (and practicing them) will make you a more successful Entrepreneur. More importantly, however, they make you a more successful person. : )
