Hi Justing- How are you buddy? Its been long time we've talked

Well, to be honest first time I made just $0.02 from a PTC site(3 Years back) I went like crazy and ran to my dad saying- I earned money for the first time ! My dad didn't gave a very nice response lol He said can you spend your life with your $0.02 ??

I thought If i can make $0.02 then I can also make $2000 a month.... And I started my journey to IM.....

I've made highest $19000 in a month and Paypal limited my account that time.. ROFL !!

But now easily making $4000-$5000

I thought I hit the jackpot when I saw my first adsense earnings... I think it was around $0.13. It was pretty exciting indeed!

Like the friend above, the first money I made was with a PTC called neobux, it was $2.00. Now I'm doing few hundreds per month, not big numbers but as OP said I know that is possible to make much more. And I'll do it.

This makes me remember story of plenty of fish owner, one his first month he did $5.00 with adsense and years later he's a millionaire.

I think everyone makes a small amount like that their first time. When I first started it was like a $0.25 or so, maybe less. But yeah, we all start small and work our way up.

have to start somewhere buddy! First start with 1+1 = profit.. then duplicate and test variables. keep it moving and learn from your mistakes..

Not bad for a beginner. First time is always a trial and error. It's a learning process.

The first amount I made was $7 selling a little eBook I wrote (sold on eBay when they allowed digital products). Took me months to write and was only 11 pages, hehe.
This year I finally figured out that with the same amount of effort (well actually less) I can now sell my 'systems' for much more than that (non-IM niches). It's doing well.

I made my first online income through Google Adsense, I think that was $0.50. Well, that was about 4 years ago. I don't earn loads of money today but I get by with what I earn at the moment.

well, Im starting to income from one of my site from range of $ .19 to $.1.53 and now almost 3 months has gone. Its now Ranging from 1.53 to 2 dollar. lol

When you find joy in the little achieving maybe first kind of achievement, first time it is definitely a booster to go for more.

Lemme see... my first cash online was selling a dinky weight-loss product for about 10 bux.

I earn roughly 2 grand a month from various things now (some crummy adsense blogs, some writing for hire, and a couple of affiliate websites).

I have noticed most guys here started with comparatively small amounts and I have learnt much beyond the figures mentioned in this thread. I earned $5.71 in my first month.

I made .063 in December 2007 from adsense.

I took me until August 2011 until I got my first check $108.43.

I just cash my second check, October 2011 for $103.01

I am on my way.

Well back when I first started I created a site promoting both Adsense ads and Clickbank products. The first time someone clicked on my Adsense ads brought me in a whooping 0.08 cents!!! Haha I didn't care though, I felt like that 8 cents was worth more than a million dollars lol!

That was the happiest I felt in a long time. My heart was beating so fast lol!

This is so encouraging, Justin, when was that first time, and how much effort did you have to put in to get to your current level of income?

I want to say the same, but the money I've made online it's from surfing in TE's and I don't count that.

Now I have my own site and I wish to say this too. But, I know that I'm very near to start making it online.

The one thing that stands out in this thread is the excitement when your dreams become reality, and you realise that you can make money on line

i actually started off making about $45 a day because I got my start freelancing on demand media studios, which paid pretty well.

first online income was $0.04 from adsense, years ago; did not get excited about that

this year, though we have not publicized it yet seriously at all, someone bought my band's album - made $7

then someone bought my amazon kindle book - made $7 - while I was asleep. Someone else bought the print version - made $2. Both of those were very cool.

then the other day, someone found the published but largely unadvertised landing page for one of my ebooks and bought it - while i was driving - made $34 from that sale

and that's the exciting one, because (a) I was doing something else at the same time and (b) the sales page converted a visitor (on a very low-traffic site) into a customer

none of this even begins to recoup the expenses for publishing the products, much less covering the work involved in creating them, but it broke the ice dramatically, and proved that it is possible - and that illustrates (as others have mentioned) the truly great potential of what is to come

Can someone tell me how you go from 0.23 cents to $2300?

OK.. so you have a concept that works and then you just duplicate it 1000x?

Is that how it works? Or can someone tell me how you go to that amount.

I'm 23 now, and I started my online business almost a year ago (December 2010). I spent my first 9 months reading and practicing without earning a dime online. But I didn't quit.

And then the magic happened. Last October, I made my first $14.95 from selling a Saxophone with Amazon Associate through a lens I built on Squidoo. And if you Google "LJ hutchen alto saxophone" you can see my lens That month I made a total of roughly $75 from both Amazon and an ebook I'm affiliated with Clickbank. I felt really good about myself as I understand that this thing is real and I can do it

This month, I've earned another $17 from both Amazon and Ad clicks from Squidoo lens I built before. Not much, and I haven't received my check but I know it will come soon

And you know what, I love playing games (I'm a PC addict LOL) just like you. And one day, I realized that it's time to make this thing work for me (to make some money, of course). And from that day onward, I started learning about IM!

When I read your story, Justin, I feel empowered. As I know there is a buddy at my age making thousands every month. And he is a gamer like me He did it, there is no reason I can't! I don't know how long it would take me to be at your place right now, but I know I will reach it sooner or later. Because I will never quit on this business!

That's my story up to today. And if there is one thing I want to share with you from my own experience it's to NEVER QUIT! Yes, you might fail many times before you reach your goal. But if you stand up and keep walking, you will be there. I guarantee that!

I just noticed while working on Adsence for a new site that I've made an unsurmoutable amount of ...... wait for it........$7.97 in the last 9 months on adsence. The funny thing is, it's from a Blogger account that I haven't done anything with except send auto content to it.

Might need to look into how it made money?

I started my first $0.02 online from a PTC site.. then i kept reading and reading.. researching.. i love lurking in forums and asking the "masters".. i've got bunch of ebooks in my mini laptop before. after few months I started my own journey.. I've been to fiverr and other gig sites too. Then I invested the money I earned to other online income opportunity.. then it started my IM career..

I started with a 10-20$ per day...designing things...now i think i do not more than 50...but is still ok than nothing....

i remeber the first time when i was making money online ... the first time i started by selling virtual money for mmorpg games like world of warcraft and dofus in 2005 after 1 year i started devloping my own websites and just found google adsense . It was my first incom i started to earn about 0,23 - 1$ a day .. my first payment was 100$ with google adsens and after i started selling softwars by allopass and starpass softwars for mmorpg gaming like cheats etc !
and it was my best income for more than 2 years about 1000 - 2000 $ a moth and also web site devloping ... I made my first sale online 6 years ago for $42.99.
i do not sell any product online anymore...but for the past 3 years i have been comfortably making over $5000 every month.

I made my first earnings on gptreasure.com if i remember the name I completed 2-3 surveys and made like 3$ and i also god paid in e-gold lol Now i make 30k and have 6 people paid for theyr work every month.

I made my first income from the internet selling Gmail invites. I used to auction them on ebay. It was unforgettable, life was really hard at that time and that's how I started. Years passed I improved. I worked so hard until now, making five figures every month off my years hard labor yet still, I keep on looking back at those times that I have nothing and I'm proud to start from nothing.

First time I earn money is from google adsense and affiliate marketing about $50 in one year ago. I'm so happy. Because this is my income from business.
I set goal is $50000 per month.

2 years ago I signed up for a bunch of safelists. I promoted an email software product from Clickbank. My first commission was $17.

Great stuff, I truly have the same concept. If I can make one sale, I can make many. Just don't quit and you will eventually control your life. That is the sweetest victory you will ever have in life and no one, I mean no one will be able to take it away from you.

I wrote articles seo. I was the first transfer of about $ 30 I was almost in heaven. How old was I? 15

I think my first month I made just over a dollar, half of which might have been my own click thru! My focus has changed to building quality sites that have real tangible value. We forget to think that the sites we create are real assets with long-term worth.

My first earnings were $0.79 infolinks and $0.23 chitika because I don't use chitika as much. I am now working on making that $79,000 and $23,000 a month but who knows

I remember earning a grand total of 2 cents when I first got my adsense account last July. I didn't think I would earn more than that, but now I'm getting my first $110 check from adsense next month.

It took me 2 years, but now I know my dreams will come true!

I don't think you can under-estimate the value of hearing other people's success stories - however small - because we all like to hear that someone else is or was in a similar boat to ourselves. It can give real meaning to our purpose and helps with motivation for those dreams.

Yes, that's the attitude! Once you get that first profit of any small amount you know you can do it and it all builds from there - you've proven that.

Just like 2 humans can have 10 kids and then if things get crazy enough could end up with 100 grandchildren, it's the same with profit-building

I remember when I made around $0.25 on neobux and I told my many friends (all three of them) I was going to be super rich. Three months later I was up to a total of something like $8 and was getting so much pussy.

I made about $2.00 from Adsense my first month successfully. That was like four years ago now. That is peanuts compared to what I make now, but keep in mind that I had no SEO, a terrible design, almost no content and was using a free domain. My traffic was coming from article marketing sites. I didn't even know enough to use Ezine, but rather Article Base. Considering I invested 0 and knew about as much, it was a miracle that I could make enough to buy a shake at McDonalds. That showed me that if you know what you are doing there is plenty of potential online!

Aside from ebay and selling physical things for a bit of cash over the net, the first money I made in IM was £0.12 and it was the best twelve pence I've ever got haha! Like you I realized surely if this was attainable then so was £1.20, £12.00 £120.00 etc!

My first actual "earning" was about 1 cent from ClickBux, NeoBux or whatever it was called. Never had it paid out, and the work was hideous.

My second "earning" was about 60-70$ in 2 days with AdSense - then I got banned. Clickbombed -.-'

Third, and first successful to say, was 120$ by writing 4 (four!) small articles between 30-50 words. Had 'em paid.

Now I'm averaging about 10 cent a day using AdClickMedia, and hope to scale it once my "greyhat" methods starts to kick in

Man! I am loving this forum!!! I been online for a little over a year now, but I haven't made money that had made it worthwhile... I do it part time, but everyday is a struggle. I don't remember the amount exactly. I purchased a website off eBay. Decided I didn't want it a couple weeks later and turned around and resold it for a pretty good profit.

Absolutely true about that. The first money I made was 6 cents and it was the highlight of my day as well.

I totally agree. The first time I realized that I really make a good amount of money online, was when I built a website for a customer, and saw that as soon as it was finished, and with a bit of marketing, they were pulling in 80k a month. That's just based on local advertising alone for their product. I quickly started going off and working on my content and ways of making money. I'm nowhere near what they're pulling in, but I'm working towards it.

My first earning in the internet was not from PPC it was with clickbank.

I tried a lot of things, and never earned a dime. Than, suddely after i didnt do anything on one specific webpage, i looked in my clickbank account, and there was a sale made, what brought me $45.

I was so happy. I showed it to my wife (i think before that she thought i am completly crazy to do all the work, and never earned something out of it), and that gave me more confidence to keep going.

I am still not earning really much, but it was a learnign curve. The $45 from the beginning are still in my clickbank account, together with $200 more, since it seems like, that everybody pays with PP and i never get the 5 Credit card payments together to qualify finally, but i am still working on it.

As of now, it seems like, that i will recieve this month my first adsense check. Than i will have there also my first $100 together.

I hope one time, that can keep up with some of you guys. My goal is to reach $4000/month, which shoulc be reachable sometimes, even for somebody like me^^

Here is my lil story my first ... cents were from ppc sites not worth mentioning ) then some substantial one would be from adsense .... got to 20$ in .. 2-3 months then bum they suspended my account ) ... so i had to move on and last month i made an site with pretty much everything some1 needs on an site(a simple one not to groovy) and got 50$(well ... should cut from these like 10-12$ the domain since i am offering it free for few more clients. Also i think i might get my first client on Fiverr which is great ... doing a blog template cant be better then this(so far ofc) more cash will come shortly after i unsuspend my account on ebay hope they will let me do transactions there ... since so far i think thats were u can get(if got a good product to sell - even from wholesalers) nice cash monthly.

Real quickly I wanted to share a short scenario I recently came across that really ticked me off.

There was this guy that I met online that was just starting out, he went ahead and build a website, started building traffic to it, and made more than $1,000 in his first week (which in my experience is extremely rare).

I was so excited for this dude and thought he was going to go really far... but in his second week, he only made $35.00.

Guess what.. he quit.

For anyone out there that's starting out, remember you are going to have really good weeks and really bad weeks. But the point is.. if you can make $1,000 one week, you can definitely do it again.

The reason he only made $35.00 in his second week is because he pretty much thought he didn't have to do anything since that's how he made his first $1,000. He thought that by putting the same bit of effort (which IMO wasn't a lot) would give the same results and that's just not how it works.

I've tried to get him to come back to the industry and he refuses because he see's it as unreliable.

I made $0.25 on adsense, It felt amazing the only other time I made $0.25 of my own money is when I found it on the sidewalk. lol

gosh, i don't remember my first profit earned. i do remember getting very excited when i got a commission check for about $800.00 from stubhub. good old stubhub. too bad they discontinued that paticular affiliate program. i don't even care about money. i'm just happy to wake up and breath each morning.

First money made was 19 cents on Adsense. I was raking in the cash!

My first AdSense click earned me $1.86 and let me tell you, I was floored I always thought clicks earned webmasters a few cents at best, but $1.86? That's outrageous! That was last month, I'm up to ~$35 total now. Looking forward to $8k months like you!

The first time I added Adsense to a site I made $1.75 and a few months later I remember hitting $20 on a Saturday. It seemed really amazing to me at the time that I could build something once and continue to get paid every day.

Once I had a site making $20 a day consistently I flipped it for around $8000 and then started building again.

I plan to do this before the age of 25.

That means I have until July 12th, 2014, which I feel is definitely possible.

Everything is possible!!!

There have been lots of up and down in my life..i am confused i don't know where i stand right now!

My goal is to earn around 5k per month. Got few cents per month right now but I wont give up

I can't even remember, but I think it was 2 dollars waaay back when the dinosaurs were here nearly. Now I may be making over 1K a week as my contracts with Geo-arbitrage start up and grow to 10s of thousands a week as time goes on.

I just started using Chitika 4 months ago, this is what my earnings look like so far..

Jul 2012 - $0.10
Aug 2012 - $0.38
Sep 2012 - $0.05
Oct 2012 - $2.14

I'm hoping I can roll with the momentum I'm getting and start earning much higher. I've noticed my traffic has doubled in these past few months, which I think helped a lot in October. Can't wait to see what the end of November looks like.

My first income online was $1. It was from an affiliate link ,and that too sending that to Traffic Exchanges. That was the only way I knew. I made a total of $10. That was it. I Was not able to make anything after that. Recently made $140 by working as Project Manager online. Now nothing. Just don't know where to start, what to do....

I can't remember my first earning(s) but until recently, I was earning about $10 to $15 a day with Adsense until it got the chop.

Just recently, it was pay day and I had been looking at a product I needed, I'll say needed rather and than add another shiny thing to go with the others, and when I was in Pay Pal it was only asking for less than what I was intending to pay from my bank account. Why?

Well, I'd done a review recently and decided I'd put up a video. Well unbeknownest to me, the video had gotten me a sale so I'm more stoked to create videos more than ever!

Congrats and I think you should try Adsense as well and your earning will be 10 times more than this on the same traffic.

In everything we do a seed has to be planted. those .23 cents were the seed, the ambition is the food, and the result is the growth. I remember that one day when I went BONKERS, a whole $2.16. Surely I didn't quit my day job at that time, but the seed was planted, and more importantly I THOUGHT ! why the heck didn't they teach this in grad school

Yikes! I made .50 from adsense when I was starting out but now I make (more or less) $3000 - $5000. However, it took me years before I really started earning money online. Anyway, hard work really does pay...

Yeah, I can remember my first sale/income in mid 2009. It was 15$ for 1 sale! I was freaking out.

Before the penguin hit me, my best month was on december/christmas 2011 - it was 13k $... But since penguin, its going more and more down. Actually I´m at 1500$ this month but I´m quite happy.

I lost my motivation since the penguin and cant imagine to make that much money again. But its good to read that there are still people making that much cash online.
