How do yre ou sabotage your success?

I was just curious what other people do to sabotage their own success. Everyone does it, including me. Here are some of the things that I do right now:

1) Dawdle
2) Find other "more important" things to do
3) Talk to my wife too much
4) Call friends and talk to them instead

For me, these actions are all rooted in fear. I'm afraid to succeed and don't feel worth it sometimes. Others, I'm afraid that I'll fail. How about others here?

Yeah, for me it's getting too caught up in other things like Facebook and email. Things like that. I just have a hard time prioritizing my time. The best thing I've found to combat those terrible flaws is to make a schedule and stick to it. Then I can do whatever I want, as long as what I needed to accomplish in my schedule was taken care of. Good luck!

Looks like I might have just sabotaged my own by spelling the title to this post wrong! Oh well, live and learn I guess!

I spent like 6 years sabotaging myself. Always thinking that one day I will make it work yet I kept doing the same things over and over again that DIDN'T Work. I knew they didn't work but I kept telling myself that I could make it work.

It was a strong case of denial. I was not willing to look outside of my understanding for the answers and just kept doing the same thing over and over though it had proven itself the wrong way.

A lot of people think that they are trying when they do the same thing over and over again. They call it getting back on the wagon. I now realize that success comes not from doing the same thing over and over again after it has proven that it doesn't work but continuing your search even when you don't know where to find the answers.

When a method doesn't work, you look at it as a learning experience and you try something else. You never quit looking for the answer.

I think I went off a bit topic. When I realized that my actions were sabotaging my success I decided to try to do things differently and eventually I found the right path for my life. Does this mean that I don't ever sabotage myself? No, I think we all do it at some point or another.

The important thing is to be able to identify when you do it so you can stop yourself before you create a mess.
