The Power of Mindset.





This is just an inspirational thread that I have put together regarding some of the lessons that I have learned using self development and how it has changed my life.

If you have a storey about how personal or professional development has helped change your life please post your storey as I would love to read about it.

I have been totally facinated with SD for nearly a decade now. I totally immersed my self in self development for years. As a result I went from an unemployed kid with no career to a top level sales person (offline) and eventually worked my way into a position as an advertising executive.

This would all NEVER have been possible if it weren't for the consistent, long term personal and professional development that I did. All actions, deeds and results first start with a thought.

You can never create success in your life if you don't take action on your decisions and the decisions you make and the actions you take will be influenced by your mindset more then any other contributing factor.


To Put it simply, action is the truth about what you really want and

    What's up with your time-line? Nearly a decade is what, 9 years?

    Were those 9 years before, during or after you totally immersed yourself in SD for years? At what point were you an unemployed kid that eventually worked your way to top level sales and advertising executive? That would make you how old now? 29-30 years? So now you're a gainfully employed kid and that's the whole point.

    Something in your upbringing, how you were raised by age 5 gave you that fascination with self-development. Children learn what they live and believe what they learn from their surroundings and the people around them. Or, maybe I've got you pegged all wrong? Let's hear your story again, please!!

    The purpose of this thread is to discuss the benefits of cultivating a positive mindset.

    I think you're missing the point here. The work that I have done internally has been directly responsible for the results that I have managed to achieve
    regardless of my timeline and upbringing.

    I am no longer an "employee" or a kid I have my own business online. This was just my storey and an example of how proper self development can take you places that a person otherwise might never have thought possible. As I said before,

    Your mind will give back exactly what you put into it.
