Hey Warriors!

I thought I'd share a quote by someone who was born way before Internet marketing but who's words are more relevant now then they've ever been. He's a personal hero of mine too:

"Take up one idea. Make that one idea your life - think of it, dream of it, live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea alone. This is the way to success." - Swami Vivekananda.

Enjoy and spread the love

Sanj.

Thats a great quote, but what I think it misses is what level you are focusing on, but i guess that depends on what your goal is.

It's like a step by step way to success. One idea at a time. We should not just think, dream and live on our ideas, we must implement it.

Another belief: Happiness is in the future. Not true. Right here and now
you are happy and you do not know it because your false beliefs and
your distorted perceptions have got you caught up in fears, anxieties,
attachments, conflicts, guilt and a host of games that you are
programmed to play. If you would see through this you would realize
that you are happy and you do not know it. -Anthony De Mello

True happiness is caused by nothing. True happiness is causeless. Has it ever occurred to you that if something causes your happiness, you will become possessive of that thing. You will become anxious, lest you lose it. If you ask the mystic why he or she is happy, the answer will be, ‘why not?’ -Anthony De Mello

All that we are is the result of what we have thought.
If one speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows that person.
If one speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows that person,
like a shadow that never leaves him or her.

A thought can NEVER become enlightened. The only difference will be trading one thought that says, " I am not enlightened" for another thought that says, "I am enlightened." When enlightenment has actually occurred, there will be no thought present to claim it. Oh, the irony! –Michael Jeffreys

Most cultures understand happiness to mean, ‘You get what you want so you are happy!’ But that’s not happiness. That’s a thrill… that’s getting what you want. But Thrills, fun and pleasure are NOT happiness. What are they? They’re thrills, they’re fun, they’re pleasure… they are not happiness. Happiness is a state of non-attachment. –Anthony De Mello

The world we see merely reflects our own internal frame of reference--the dominant ideas, wishes and emotions in our minds. We look inside first, decide the kind of world we want to see and then project that world outside, making it the truth as we see it. We make it true by our interpretations of what it is we are seeing. -A Course in Miracles

Great share, I think it reminds us that when we pick on idea we have to live it, dream it, be it. I think this is law of focus, by paying attention to that one thing that you see it even in your sleep and your success will be inevitable.

Smodha, I like your quote and I admire Swami Vivekananda.

I'm pretty sure that Vivekanda knew very well that when one's consciousness is revolving around one great idea, greater than oneself, one cannot help, but act upon it. Just thinking... Maybe inspiration and action follow focus and intention.

And, I want to stress what Magnus has said that we need to implement the idea.

Let me add another great, short quote, by the famous ice hockey player Wayne Gretzky:

"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

And another one by Vivekananda's contemporary Ramana Maharshi who has shown a perseverance rarely being seen:
"No one succeeds without effort... Those who succeed owe their success to their perseverance."

According to Emanuel Swedenborg---Moreover, no one is judged from the natural man, thus not so long as he lives in the natural world, for man is then in a natural body; but everyone is judged in the spiritual man, and therefore when he comes into the spiritual world, for man is then in a spiritual body.

While I don't normally make predictions, I predict that one day the idea that you are NOT your BODY will be so obvious and commonplace, that people will look back and think, "You mean there was a time when people actually thought they were their bodies!?" with the same tone of incredulousness that we currently use when we say, "You mean there was a time when people actually thought the world was flat!? –Michael Jeffreys

You can search throughout the entire universe for someone
who is more deserving of your love and affection than
you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere.
