Thanks for the list. The "idols" word is a bit weird maybe change it to "role-models". Thanks again!

I would definitely add "ask others for ideas". Could help!

I like the one about having goals. it sounds so simple but I just "showed up" in my home office for a long time without having clearly-defined 90-Day or 1-year goals. So when all you have is a weekly/daily planner is feels like you're just juggling neverending tasks and not getting anywhere.

Then I stopped for a while until the long-term vision became more clear. That didn't happen. These bigger goals are taking me weeks and weeks to clarify, so it's a strange feeling working hard on the short-term while finding clarity in the long-term but I feel it's something we have to get comfortable doing, as sometimes ideas develop naturally over time and unfold before you.

My biggest motivator is work. My long term goal is that I can quit my dayjob, so every hour spent there motivates me in reaching that goal! I love my current job, but I'd love to reach my goal even more

  • 10-minute break after every hour, the moment of exercise, relaxation. Motivational music works very well. And, above all you must be motivated. It's up to you whether you are motivated or not. Find the best method for you I recommend Anthony Robbins

Money does not motivate in a long run, it has only a short term kick. You need something else to keep yourself motivated.

There are two types of motivation: intrinsic and extrinsic.

      Money represents an extrinsic motivation.
Passion, self-direction, interest and purpose are driven by an intrinsic motivation.

Guess which one is the strongest?

Hey! Money is a big motivator for me. However even though i can see progress with my adsense site the monetary increaments are just not enough! I guess the hope of one day earning some substancial sum shall serve as my motivation for now.

I liked number 8..negative people! If you have negative people around you, the performance will go down. Because it is always hard to have success if somebody is fighting against it! Be aware of those people

      That's right maile15!

There are "mirror neurons" inside of us that mimic the behavior and the thoughts of other people. If you surround yourself with negative people, it is very likely to become one of them.

You become who you surround yourself with... If you want to be more motivated, be with motivated people that get things done. If you can't be physically and socially present with them, learn from them, get courses, books and training programs from them. You'll inherit what they know, their behavior and train of thought.
