It is a really excellent quote from Emerson. If we are not enthusiastic about something, we won't usually do it with 100% concentration and care. The end result will be less than spectacular work.

Enthusiasm is something very powerful.
With it you don't seem to have a limit of energy,
You don't seem to have enemies,
You see adversity as blessings,
You place faith and confidence in your heart,
You simply become one of the most attractive thing on earth.

I like your quote - it seems like with enthusiasm, they would be happy and like what they are doing too, right?

It is always easier for me to be enthusiastic if I enjoy what I am doing. Work at what you love to do!
