My life is REALLY changing for the better!

I started to freelance for Wordpress 5 days ago, this December. Over Christmas, this last Sunday, I repeatedly used the hotel computers to see if anyone responded to my applications for jobs at oDesk.

Oddly enough, there was another $100 dollar job that wasn't done right the first time and I was waiting for contact to see what I could do differently. This job sat on the back burner for 5 days. I corrected the site and may get the $100 for it.

I am currently finishing up another site for $1 Thousand dollars and some change.

Also, I caught an interview tonight for a 500 dollar to 640 dollar job on oDesk AGAIN!

The skills that I UNLEASHED are AMAZING! I cannot believe I am getting high budget jobs off the bat! I remember when I recalled these skills collecting dust, wondering how much they actually commanded. I was shocked, only to be further shocked at having 2, and possibly a third,job before the slow "between holidays" week was up.

I may have over 1745 dollars before the week is over! And this is slow week!

    What do you mean by saying "Wordpress sites", you mean you get paid to build blogs with Wordpress?

    Possibly a short wso could get made one day. Hell, I already landed a 1007 Dollar job in FOUR days, interview and all! I was so shocked to death. I survived after some medical shock.

    I have applied at freelancer.com for a 7000 dollar job. IDK if I will get that one. All I know is to keep trying as other jobs go away. If you win a bid, great! That is always a fantastic feeling to win a bid. And I won 2 bids and in interview for a 640 dollar one.

    Can't wait till next week when everyone resumes business to hear what happens with the latter interview.

    What I mean by Wordpress sites is to develop them and install them with plugins.

      Great job devonm. I use Odesk frequently to find talent for different projects.

      I am happy you landed some decent projects, especially with a lot of the low-balling which goes on there.

      Once you get a good amount of projects under your belt there, with good feedback, they should keep coming. Everyone has to start somewhere, but often the people with only one past project under their belt get overlooked.

      The fact that you aren't having to low-ball just to get experience there is great.

    I don't put up with low ballers. I bid good, If low ballers don't like it, screw them, They get a fairly good hefty bid on their project. I have one take me for $640 ,though his budget was for $500. He is interviewing me now. I MIGHT get this, even though I bid over budget. Wierd. Maybe it was my portfolio of 2 puny sites that did it? I got a third one added in the night just this past night. AFTER the guy began to interview me, even!

      I am really happy for you that your life has been changing. I would also mention here that its a human nature that we regret about the things but infact it a law of nature. You might have also heard that "Change is the law of nature". So just look forward and keep smiling on what you have and dont regret for what you have not
