Did You Keep Your New Year's Resolutions for 2011?
I'm pretty sure I posted about New Year's Resolutions awhile back, but seeing as I don't even remember much of it or what was responded to it, brings me to a pressing question...
Do you REMEMBER your New Year's Resolutions for 2011? If so, how many did you keep? What did you accomplish that was NOT on your Resolution list?
While I understand the well-meaning intent and that some people do follow through, I think Resolutions are, for the most part, a fad that's quickly forgotten about after the first few weeks of January. Never underestimate the value of goal-setting... but within a reasonable time-frame. Too little time, you put yourself under unnecessary stress. Too much time, you invite procrastination, or forgetting altogether.
I have a lot of goals in mind, and it just so HAPPENS to be almost the new year where most can be implemented. I learned a LOT about myself as an individual over the past year... and putting that into action.
So if you're thinking about making Resolutions... what have you accomplished already this year that you can build on?
