2. Have a Marketing Plan that motivates you

(Of course, each of these two steps involves a variety of sub-steps, but without a product in demand and a serious plan, you'll just be treading water.)

    Definitely the substep of "find a product or niche that you love." If you are only looking at trying to make money your criteria for that "right" product or service will be very different than if you find a product that is in demand both for the general public but also to you. If you like what you are promoting, it will show through and you'll be more likely to stick with it as time goes on. It's just like a job - if you like the work, you'll probably keep doing it. But if you hate it - even if it's paying you well - you'll be constantly looking for a way out.

    I would imagine that an IM plan that motivates you would be one that has worked foryour you in the past. If youve found a method that works for you then replicating it will be exciting for and niche you have interest in. If you havent developed a winning method then i would focus on that first. Once mastered, then your job mostly becomes researching niches with lots of buyers. I would suggest looking to see if there are forums for a broad niche then searching for sub niches within the forums that you can potentially monetize. You could also find trending products on sites like eBay and Amazon. Just keep researching. Good luck!

    GT, true asiancasanova, good point. How about a trusted mentor at a basic, low cost course. Make some $$ and invest in an advanced course.
