    I assume you speak of self made wealth as opposed to inherited wealth. In my opinion wealth is result of working smarter not harder. It is about finding an unmet need, a problem or burning desire that A LOT (ideally millions) of people have.

    Then it is about fulfilling these needs, solving problems etc. and doing it better than anyone else.

    Accumulated wealth is also directly proportionate to what leverage you have. Either you employ large amount of capital, superb technology or a lot of manpower, but usually a combination of at least two. And then there is this greatest discovery of all times: practical application of compounding interest...

    Of course I also agree with you that all these qualities you mentioned can separate winners from losers. Luckily they can be developed.

      I agree with Ziga %100, I think working hard is a big part of it --> but working smarter is even more important. This really does make me think though. and thanks for the share! =]
