Hello Fellow Warriors!

I've been experimenting with lucid dreaming for the last couple of months. It is such a fasicinting world. Using dreams for problem solving and inspiration has been documented for so long and is so natural I'm a little suprised it isn't discussed more often.

Tesla, Einsteen, James cameron, Steven King, Thomas Edison
Famous Lucid Dreamers: 10 Celebrities Who Lucid Dream

All use or used the power of dreams to tap into the subconscious. I've read a couple of books on techniques to become lucid and control the dreamscape but would love to hear from other lucid dreamers here on the WF.

I've had pretty good luck in focusing on my hands while in a dream to become lucid. Dreams feel so real that you don't relize it is a dream until something unusual happens. At first I got so excited that I realized I was dreaming I would wake up.

I learned to spin in my dream to bring my focus back to the dream. Looking at my hands does the same thing the top did for Leonardo in inception. I'm able to focus on my surroundings and start to explore the dream reality.

What are your experiences with lucid dreaming?

I can shoot you in the right direction with books (exploring the world of lucid dreaming), but i've found that the internet once again leads the way. theluciddreaming forum is pretty good.

Man I tell you this is nuts! I've never looked forward to sleep so much! It's a whole new world. It is so intense and awakening. You meet dream figures, guides and some things that make no sense!

Don't be afraid of it. It is part of being human.

It definitly sounds interesting. I found a podcast on it which I'm going to listen to when I hit the gym. I look forward to finding out how it works

wingsofsuccess- WOW astral dreaming is one of the coolest things i can think of. I will check out ur page. Are the techniques similar to those of lucid dreaming? any herbs help (mugwart) increases my chances of becoming lucid. I would imagine that lucid dreaming would be the first step into astral projections,

ProScribe- Great! Let me know what you think. I'd be happy to share any information I have that may help you.

Lucid dreaming is a very fascinating subject. I am into a related niche, Astral Projection (out-of-body-experiences). I have had many Lucid dreams as well as Astral Projection experiences.

If you want to know more, you can check out my site Astral Projection - The Naked Truth where I offer a set of videos (240 FAQ on Astral Projection). It covers a bit of LD as well. If you do not want to subscribe, and want the videos right away, simply PM me and I will give you the direct links.

I've dabbled in lucid dreaming but haven't gotten much success.
I recently bought an iphone app (there really is an app for everything!) called "Brain Wave" that uses binaural tones to stimulate brainwave frequencies.
One of the states they say they can induce is Lucid dreaming.
    Haven't tried it yet though...
