Believe in Yourself and People Will Believe in You

Have you ever seen someone who didn't buy a car because he failed to learn how to drive?
Or have you ever met someone who tried to learn how to drive then decided not to try again after failing for few times?
Personally, I have never met anyone like that. Almost everyone who starts learning how to drive ends up being able to drive well.

The question is, why you succeeded in learning how to drive yet failed in achieving some of your Internet Marketing goals ?
The answer is simple: because you were sure that you were going to be able to drive long before you sat in the driver's seat.
You saw everyone around you succeeding in doing it and so were convinced that there's nothing particularly hard about it, even though it really is a complicated skill.

Believe in Yourself and People Will Be Forced to Believe in You

1. Protect your ideas
In almost all the cases where people give up their goals half way through, they usually start their task being completely convinced with their ideas and are then put down by other people. Being put down is no more than being convinced that you are moving in the wrong direction. The continues repetition of the idea in a confident way can convince lots of people to believe in it even if it was not that convincing.

2. Fight for your ideas
Stop thinking that people's opinion are important. Some people think that unless everyone agrees with them then they are wrong. This is completely wrong. If people think that you are wrong or that your efforts will yield no results then just go against them by either convincing them with your point of view right away or by waiting until they believe in you by force when they see your success.

3. Keep on Keeping on
If you challenged people once or twice and went against their opinions then succeeded, even if that was a trivial task, then you will end up being more confident in your abilities and your ideas. At this point their opinion won't affect you anymore.

If you don't believe in yourself you will end up discarding your ideas and no one will remember you. On the other hand, if you believed in yourself and continued fighting for what you want then people may reject your ideas in the beginning but they will be forced to believe in you in the end after seeing your success.

Believe me, it's just like driving

Great thought! This is very important.

If you believe in yourself, you spread sunshine around and everybody in your environment will have no choice but to get warmer in the process, metaphorically speaking.

Believe in yourself and others will believe you can achieve whatever it is you're dreaming. And if you prove you can get things done, people will join up. That's the second level of it

You know I grew up in a home like most where you are taught to go to school, get a good job, save your money and take care of your family. Nothing wrong with that, to each their own, but I always knew that was not the life for me. I will never forget I was a customer service rep at a National Tire and Battery store my senior year in high school and I was busting my tail and this guy noticed me and invited me to a what I later found out to be a MLM Pre-Paid Legal mtg, and what I learned there was imperative and profound for me. I learned that there is another way. That I could have the desires of my heart without someone leaving it to me in a will or when I'm a senior collecting social security. And my head hadn't been right since. 8-)

Anytime you go against the grain, you run into problems. My family did not like my aspirations and dreams to be rich, and so therefore I had to motivate and believe in myself. I had to "sneak" and sort of bend the truth to my family because they did not understand, but I knew one important thing. If it exists, and someone else has achieved it/received it.....SO COULD I! I wasn't being arrogant, nor cocky, but I knew we are all built with the same "stuff" and nothing was going to stop me from achieving success.

TRUE self-confidence (as opposed to its retarded brother, egotism) is a quality that very few people possess. People can tell if you have this quality by just shaking your hand, listening to you speak for a few moments or just looking at your body language and listening to your tone of voice.

Once they sense this quality in you, they will begin to act differently towards you. They'll admire and respect you for being congruent.

Leadership is the one area where self-confidence is a must.

And yes, any kind of long-lasting, enduring success requires huge amounts of self-confidence.

So truly believe in yourself, and it will start to be noticed by those around you. And people will believe in them. But don't tell them you have self-confidence - show it, by your achievements, by the way you act and by the way you treat others.

Great post. It's usually fear and failures that cause an individual to stop believing in himself, and to quit the whole thing all-together. With confidence, things will be much easier to achieve, at least 1/2 the battle is won. Just my 2cents.

I totally SUCKED at stock trading when I began it was all confusing and made my head hurt. But I stuck at it for longer than many of my friends, now while they are still exchanging their time for money I have my money making money for me, they gave up and I kept going. now I'm here to try my hand at internet marketing because I figure if I can be successful at something as challenging as trading then I can certainly become a successful internet marketer.

I've failed more times than I've succeeded but my determination has got me through every challenge in my life

Awesome thought! Sometimes the only thing that can keep you going is when you believe that you can do everything because most of time, no one can ever help you but yourself.

Hello! This is such a great and really true post. If you believe enough in yourself, you really make people believe in you. Try being cheerful and even a more hardworking fellow. If you have enough positive thoughts, people will also think positively towards you.

we have to believe it to see it ..

it's not that most people don't believe you can't do it.. it's that they believe they can't do it.. thus it really can't be done .. no matter how many people are doing it ..

Also they want to stop you from doing it.. because then it threatens their beliefs on weather or not they can or can't do it ..

I think the car analogy is an interesting one, because no one starts out driving and is successful immediately. Believing in yourself is an important factor, but remembering that no one that succeeded in anything ever gave up. When you understand that the world pays alot of money to people who can do what others cannot, And that is to constantly pursue a dream and adjust to it until you get it right.

I think self love, self image, and self confidence are extremely underrated.

Certainty is so important as well. I've been using this little phrase with myself:
"Certainty is salvation. Hesitation is hell."

Choose something. Decide. Decide what you are going to do it and then do it because you decided.

You have to believe in yourself to be decisive. So do it. Because no one will do it for you. Don't delude yourself thinking that if you do things for other people that they will do what you want when you want it.

It is your responsibility. Belief in yourself and decide to do it.

This reminds me of the Lion king just because you are a Lion does not mean it is your right to rule. You still have to prove yourself. An army of rabbits lead by a Lion is more dangerous than an army of Lions lead by a rabbit.
