Do you believe that people are put into your path to receive kindness?

I don't really know how to explain it, but I will try.

In the past 2 months, my hubby and I have been tremendously blessed financially.

While we have always given when and what we could to those in need, we really did not have that much to begin with. I always wanted to help more than I really was able.

Now, all of those times when I said, "Lord, I would give more if I could," I really meant it. Now we are in a position to give more, and we (I) have been asked over and over for help (different people and situations) - and we have been able to give it.

Here is the funny part - the more we give away, the more we seem to have!

My uncle once said, "You can't out-give God. If you have a heart that wants to give, God will always find a way to make sure you can give."

I truly believe that is the case. And we have been SO blessed in return.

What about you? Do you believe that people are placed in your path so you can bless/help them?

I've experienced exactly what you speak about in my life. Sometimes it gets overwhelming. It seems most folks want the "fish" but don't want to learn "how to fish".

Many blessings to you - and keep on giving.

    Hello Omari Taylor here,

Great post. I do believe when you give more you receive more. And I always recommend to my downline and others that if you are not giving, you must. Because when you give more you get more. I think about it, what millionaire do you know that doesn't give back? I don't know any.

If you give more you receive more. So start today. Best wishes.

Err, it's one of the best, and most truthful in my opinion, points you could possibly make when talking about finances/etc.

        Shay,
I've also done a lot of research on past lives, karma, soulmates, etc. so I could write a chapter about this But, I'll simplify it to this: I'm a strong believer that anyone who comes into your life, from a brief moment to a lifetime is meant to be a part of your path, either for you to help or teach them or for you to receive help or learn lessons from them.

I think she meant that in the process of giving a side benefit is that you'll often receive. Not that the point of giving is to receive.

No, that was not my point at all.

I believe that some people come into your life so that you can help them - for no other reason than both of you will be blessed by helping that person.

Giving in order to receive is mercenary. Giving because you love to do it and it blesses you (emotionally) is fantastic.

I think that God blesses you when you give freely. I really do. Not when you give expecting that some cosmic accountant is going to make a deposit in your bank account the next day.

Great post Shay. It really shows your true intention to help others. But, I can already tell that by your bubbly personality.

I too, want to do all I can to help others in need. Sometimes, circumstances just get in the way. But, as long as we keep on giving, soon we'll have more to give. When you give freely, that is.

      Shay,

      What a wonderful post.

When you give, someone has to receive. The act of giving perpetuates the act of receiving. If giving ceases so will receiving cease.

Give first and you will always have abundance because you need abundance to freely give.

I too believe that people are put on my path for reasons. I am consciously aware that at this moment I am in a position to make a difference in someone's life in some way.

Whether it's a friendly smile, a helping hand, some comforting words, an ear to lend. I try my best to fulfill what I believe is my purpose at that time.

      Let your spirit lead you.

      All the best,

      Kevin

You discovered one of the greatest blessings in the universe. Giving is the way to increase what flows back through you. It's similar to a fresh running stream or brook. The more water that flows out of it, the more fresh water can flow into it. If the brook is stopped up (not giving) then no fresh water can flow into it and it becomes stagnant. So, yes, keep your water (giving) flowing.

    Hi ShayRockHold,

There are lots of people saying that being able to give is a great way to receive more and I do agree with that. Abundance is happening to my life since I start to give more.

Most of my giving is for animal welfare - and they also pay you back many times.

As for people, I'm not as warm and sweet as Shay. Many people seem put in my path for me to trip over.

I think money is a bit like love - if you hold it tightly and guard it jealously - you'll have less of it.

God is very powerful that we haven't asked it yet he knows that we need it. It's just a matter of talking to him. I've experienced God's graces many times and I could not believe he will grant it. Sometimes I have a question with him but I know he has answer to all of that.
