Why are you doing this?

Hi guys,

I am new to this forum and keen to connect with as many of you as possible. Whenever I meet business owners, I always within the conversation ask them why they are in the business and what their main challenge is.

So I would like to extend those two questions to you guys.

I am in business because I love working with people to create a frame work for working in their business that makes them more efficient. Sometimes this involves removing limiting beliefs, other times it involves helping them with presenting skills.
My main challenge at the moment is creating an air-tight referral system.

    Hi Aaron,

    I got into business because I wanted to break away from making other companies rich, and I wanted to feel in control of my financial future as well as I wanted to have more free time with my family. My main challenge is finding one area of business that interests me 8-) I have been involved with several different business ventures and they all interested me at one time. However, over the past 3years, internet marketing has stayed strong with me. I love it! But we also know how many different avenues of IM one can go into.

      Hi Aaron,

      I am new too in this forum, I am browsing the topics here then I saw your post. It caught my attention.

      I got into business simply because I need to earn and secure my family's future. And also, my business is my own passion, I love doing my job and at the same time I am earning from it.

      My major challenge is when my clients are not paying me. Really, there are clients that will negotiate with you that they will pay you, but after the work you've done you will not hear anything from them anymore. I really feel bad about it! But there are good clients too, I am glad I still manage to get good and reliable clients.

    Hi Aaron, good question !

    I have a goal to help small to medium sized businesses achieve increased profits through the use of smart Internet Marketing and through helping them I will be able to employ and relocate Teachers into the small rural villages in Vietnam and educate the youngsters so they can rise above the poverty and then they in turn can put value back into their community. My vision is to give them a hand up NOT a hand out.

    Why? Because it' s a way to break into entrepreneurship with a low barrier of entry. I don't plan on being a career IMers. Perhaps I'll start the never big thing online, but I want to branch out at one point. I have varied entrepreneurial interests, so I can't imagine myself staying at one point forever.

    Oh, and I can work wherever the internet is.

    I'm doing this because freedom is important to me. Rather than relying on someone to pay me a fixed salary which has a very low chance of getting any higher (and when it does, it's very minimal) going into a low cost business allows me to confront my fears and take full responsibility for all the money I earn.

    The reason why I got into this business is because I want to make a big difference for myself and for my family. I've got to show my parents on who really I am, and why I should be successful for my own future. As a result, I proved them right but not yet contented. I'm still looking for more things that could give me even more success to my business.

    @danlew from the looks of your website you appear to be making a difference, so well done there!
    A big theme seems to be freedom and the beauty of the game we are in is that is open to us. The big advantage of this forum is you have newbies but also people who have made the 6-7 figure sums, and with that comes a wealth of knowledge that all can adopt and implement.
