Aim high if you want to end up happier

Ambition does make you happier, which shows those who sell themselves short often end up miserable.
People who aim high and set ambitious goals are more satisfied with their lives than those with lower expectations.
Those who set ambitious goals have a greater level of satisfaction compared with those who don't bother. They focused on situations in which goals were achieved, and measured the level of satisfaction with the achieved goals.
People who set high goals for themselves were happier in the long run.

1. Go for No
Start looking at NO as the goal. Instead of looking for people say YES, start counting the people who said NO. When they said NO, you are just on step closer to closer to achieve your goal.

Say you've asked people to do some thing for you, If your goal is to have 3 people say YES to you easily what happens after you get those three YESes?
You quit.

However, what happens if you look for 10 people to say NO to your request initially?
You may end up with 15 YESes before you even get to 8 NOs.

When you're on a hot streak and getting YESes you keep moving forward because you're shooting for NO instead of YES.

2. Add a ZERO behind
Write down the number you want your total net worth to be 5 years from now. Add a zero to the end of your numbers.
Post your numbers with the extra zero in front of your desk. That's your new goal. That's aiming higher.

When you look at those numbers, different things start coming to your min. New and creative ideas about how to make it happen.

3. Tell the world

Accountability is great, when you start making announcement to all your friends about your new goals, you will make sure it happen, no matter what. You'll start asking them for advice and help and thy will make sure you are on the right track to achieve your goals on time. There's a certain kind of synergy and energy that builds when a few (or more) people come together to work on your high goals.

    Good stuff man!

I really believe that most people don't think big enough.

I think we need to give ourselves permission to pursue what we really want, otherwise we're probably just running off the programming of others.

Everyone has their own dream and vision that makes them come alive!
