Programming Your Mind For Success

Since last year, I've been using affirmations to program my mind EVERYDAY.

While in the shower and with all my spare time I tell myself this over and over and over:

- I am a champion
- I am a world beater
- I can do anything
- I am the best at every single thing I set my mind to
- I am wealthy (fake it till ya make it)
- I am happy and peaceful and joyful and well rested
- I feel fantastic
- I am excited about this new day.
- I can't wait to see what God has in store for me!
- I am a born winner. I was destined for greatness.

I must admit these POSITIVE affirmations are the reason behind all my success.

Coincidentally, every successful person I know has a successful mind too.

You get one by training your mind.

You train your mind with repetition.

If you aren't already using affirmations in the shower every morning START

And if your not already taking showers you should start too

I hope this helps guys

Good luck

    Good post and very true!

I do want to point out one thing though, many people have subconscious blocks that are most often unknown. When saying affirmations, it helps to actually "believe" that which is being "affirmed." Of course, I learned this the hard way!

What I did learn also, is that when in a meditative state, (Alpha or Theta) it's much easier to reprogram the subconscious mind than it is while in a "normal" (Beta) state of mind. Since affirmations work best when we actually believe them--since if we believe we can also "feel" the emotions necessary to manifest it--being in a calm state of mind while affirming works wonders.

Of course, taking a shower is a perfect time to repeat affirmations as you said, because the brain is often producing many Alpha and Theta waves during showering, since our minds are usually calm and creative during this time. I guess that is why many people come up with "great ideas" in the shower!

Yes I totally agree with that.

Affirmations point you in the right direction, but if you really want to speed up the process believing in what you are saying or that what you are saying will eventually come true you are raising your vibration levels.

When you are in a state of high attractive vibrations you are able to manifest things much faster.

However, one way or another what your predominant thoughts are throughout the day is what you will experience in the outer world. This is why affirmations are such a powerful tool.

The thing is. Those affirmations get you feeling happy and positive. It is the way you really want to feel. Only the material part and the actual reality hasn't manifested yet. When you have that feeling, how do you feel? Positive. And having a positive attitude helps you do things so much easier and it is so much easier to jump over hurdles. (aka never giving up) and that will make you succeed and get you what you want (and all along you did it all yourself!)

I remember dreaming things like your list and we I did it made me more driven to them. Remember, if you say it and believe it your conscious thinks it and you have a better chance of succeeding with it

I wonder if these generic affirmations work because I have read that while making affirmations you need to be very specific like the amount of money you want, type of house you want to live, kind of car your want to drive, etc.

    Josh,

If you wish, I'd happily create a self-hypnosis recording for you that includes those, and any other you want added, affirmations. PM me if you are interested.

Affirmations work only when one believes it.
I don't believe in those kind of artwork -in words I mean.
I prefer drawing, pictures that reminds me those affirmations

Great idea, Josh. It's a good way to start the day but you can repeat them at times throughout the day also. Repition gets it down into our sub-conscious and then it affects our conscious thoughts and actions. As the saying goes:

Sow a thought, reap an action
Sow an action, reap a habit
Sow a habit, reap a character
Sow a character, reap a destiny.

It all starts with our thoughts.
