promotion of my amazing ebook

Hey guys,

I've been a part of a ton of other IM forums and it seems they all pointed me in this direction. WF seems like its the big leagues so here it goes...

I play guitar and put everything I know into this Ebook for only $5. I've made a squeeze page off my primary guitar domain. I put it on fiverr and gig me 5, advertise it with my youtube account and....

only 5 sales via my website in the past month.. 1 sale through kindle amazon..

It's really a great book in terms of learning guitar (not just because its my baby I really put everything into it, its 50 pages, etc.

Do you see a huge problem with my squeeze page? problem with my website? (im not at level 15 yet so I can post a link, if you google guitarmadeez, you'll see my main site and the squeeze is off that)

I seriously feel like im taking CrAzY PiLls!!! (will ferrel from zoolander)

Any good advice or hints to point me in the right direction?

    Do you know how much traffic (website visitors) you got? Than you can relate that to the sells (I think 2 sellers out of 100 visitors is good). Also I think, particularly in this niche, its easier to find like minded people using social media and (guitar) forums than seo. another thought I had was about the pricing. A bit higher could increase perceived value???

    Im not sure if the link to your sales page converts high enough. I really liked the videos in the sales page. YOU ROCK!
    Is it an idea to put one of the videos on your home page and lead it into your sales page??? just a thought.

      You see? Learning how to play the guitar is one of my goals. I think that I would like to have the following in order to buy:

      - Reliable proof that you know what you're doing (yeah, videos are ok!!).
      - Some insights about the method and a list of benefits that i will be getting from the book/course/technique.
      - Some free samples (sneak peak of first chapters?)

      Also, I think the price is pretty low, so it sounds like desperate selling. Stuff your book with some video training lessons, and set a higher price. 19.99 bucks for a complete book with training videos would be a fair price to me, as long as they work.

      Another idea would be to create some sort of membership part of your site where you could upload new lessons.

      Or even better: you could upload covers from popular songs, and teach your students how to play those. People learn to play guitar because they want to imitate their idols, so learning how to play my favorite tunes would be a nice incentive.

      Also, people learn to play guitar to get laid, but that's something you could hardly add as a bonus.

      Just be creative, man, and give it some time. Besides, 5 purchases is not bad.

        I've thought about $5 bucks being too cheap, a buddy of mine in IM said the same thing.

        On the other hand..

        People that know nothing about IM (ie. friends and family) recommended that I price it that low to compete with the all the other books out there (books in book stores where you get a physical copy, other ebooks by well known authors etc.

        I been posting 1 guitar cover of a popular song and then the following day the lesson for that song, so 1 video is posted by my youtube account "guitarmadeez" daily to promote my website and a few of the vids have annotations that promote the ebook.

        I really like the getting laid part! I'll work it in there somewhere... lol!

        A little bit more about the Ebook,

        • It's approx 50 pages,
        • I've wasted a ton of money on guitar gimmicks so I have my amazon affiliate recommending the stuff that I actually use and love (tuners, strings, etc.)
        • It tells you exactly what to practice
        • It tells you how long it will take to learn something if you follow my practice recommendation
        • It actually motivates you!!! The proofreaders really enjoyed this part and it made them want to play guitar
        • It also goes over links that I used daily for guitar playing (free sheet music, etc.)

        I really believe in the book...

        I'm kind of over Itunes and Amazon for sales BTW, their cut is a little too extreme for my liking... Geez... Did they write the book or me?...

      I really like what he said there. That's a good angle to explore. You and write a 4-5 page bonus book and include it - how to get laid with your guitar.
      That will push sales up!
      You can continue to sell it for $5 on fiverr, then sell it on your main site for more with the bonuses.
      Then if you hit up past customers on fiverr you can tell them you'll send them you're new hot to get laid bonus book if they tell you more about how they found your gig and why they bought your ebook and not someone other one.
      I love that aspect! You don't think that might push some people away? Younger crowd/family crowd? The more I think about it tho, the more I really like it!!

      I love your suggestion too about the bonus book/fiver leads etc. You guys are totally sparking my creative juices!

    Ok- I have an idea for you - Create a 5 part Min Course (videos) - price you ebook at $17.00 and then offer those at the end of the course for $5.00 (actually I would go for $7.00 - lots of IM products at that price point.

    I have a guitar site and an email system - Do you wan to work together? - I dont want to build a list in this market- to many other projects on

    Also I would work on some pro graphics for your ebook, that will help with conversion to sale
