My favorite motivational speaker varies with circumstances of my life. Right now, I'm a big fan of T. Harv Eker (Secrets of the Millionaire Mind). The Millionaire Intensive was really life changing for me.

Good answer...and also I would say Jack Lalanne believe it or not. That's only because his stories revolve around fitness, and, you got to go through that to get to hapiness. I like that ideal, plus the fact that he practices what he preach. Alot of hokey motivational speakers just write books and put on a show in front of the camera. I can do that, lol.

Depends on what you want! If you seriously want to be motivated to get off your a***, no one's better than Tony Robbins, surely. On the other hand, if you want to connect with your spirituality and learn how to hear your inner voice, Dr. Wayne Dyer comes top of my list.

I love Dr Wayne Dyer because I think you have to reach within to make life changes and align your actions with your values for consistent motivation to succeed. For me the "get off your a**" style of motivation is very short lived and I have to keep getting re fuelled. But I have to agree that Tony Robbins is a great speaker

I believe since many speakers teach different info, that question is difficult to answer. Personally here are my fav's:
Motivation: Tony Robbins, Les Brown, Mark Victor Hansen
Business: Robert Kiyosaki, Robert Allen, T. Harv. Eker, can't forget The Donald- I'm listening to Think Big and Kick Ass right now
    Spiritual: TD Jakes, Joel Olsteen

Can't say I have one favourite...things change and evolve and so does the information and style with which I resonate. But right now, it's Mike Dooley. He is just so ... normal. And brilliant. And funny. But, ultimately, he's just a guy who has had great success doing the best he can with what he's got. Which is greatly inspiring.

My top favorites to see live are Tony Robbins and Bob Proctor. Totally different presentations - but both are experiences you'll never forget. I'm not talking about the full day or weekend seminars, not the short hour-long presentations some speakers give.

And who doesn't love Les Brown? He's a terrific speaker with a compelling message. Love his laugh and upbeat attitude. Jerry Clark is awesome too. He's amassed a fortune in networking who now travels the globe training others while offering lots of courses including interview-based programs with other top achievers in many different fields. He's also a favorite client of mine.

He is an amazing man and has now implemented alot of spirituality into his teachings. He is the one who introduced me to my good friend Guru Singh who his now my favorite mentor and friend. you can download hours of Guru Singh on itunes for free or get it from my www.GetBlessedOnline.com site.

Oh yea... I just remembered that I was hanging out with Tony's son Jairek Robbins yesterday in San Fran who his now in motivational speaking biz. He is a cool dude too.

I'm surprised that nobody at ALL mentioned Dave Ramsey. He actually had a lot of decent ideas and put them in motion. The only thing I didn't like was that in his FIRST dvd, he pretty much took an HOUR of nothing but analogies of the exact same thing. I didn't watch all of his stuff, but it wasn't bad.

I noticed that everybody mentioned Tony Robbins. I've heard of him, but never heard anything from him. I think I'll have to look him up some.

    • I think I may be crazy, but I never get motivated by motivational speakers. Instead, I get motivated by historical figures, athletes legendary heroes, or completely strange fictional characters. ACTIONS motivate me more than words do.

Thus, I would have to say Tyler Durden (performed by Brad Pitt) in the movie Fight Club, Frank Zane and Tom Platz from the bodybuilding world, Mark Twight from the rock-climbing world, and John Brzenk from the armwrestling world.

Also, I find Navy SEAL David Goggins to be one of the most motivational men ever. Search for his name on Youtube.

One I haven't seen here is Tom Hopkins. I got to have lunch with him once and he motivates even during the meal. Just a great guy, down to earth and his early life experiences crack me up and make me cry all at the same time.

I saw someone mentioned Nik Vujicic. Man, what that guy does with no hands or feet just takes all your excuses away in life. I found the youtube videos of him incredibly motivational. Just amazing.

I truly believe that the most important motivational speaker you'll ever hear is from that wee small voice in the back of your head. and the really useful part is that you can train it to say whatever you want. It can be constantly motivating you, relentlessly, using other speaker's material without worry of copyright infringement. Listen to it any time you need a surge of energy or positive reinforcement. It it with you every moment of the day.
Sure, listen to other speakers, but play back their content via your own voice. And watch your results really take off.
    Just a thought.
    cheers,
    Steve Manning
