Would you like more confidence?

Hi Warriors,

I am in the process of researching for a product I would am creating. With that in mind would you be kind enough to answer a few questions?

1. What would you like more confidence in?

2. What do you feel prevents you from being more confident in this area already?

Thanks guys, appreciate the input!

    1) I would like to gain more confidence in public speaking.. I usually don't feel comfortable speaking in front of more than 20 people (below 20 people I think I'm still okay)..

    2) More confidence talking with adults (I'm currently 22) who are much older than me, I usually don't talk back or argue with them even thought they are at fault.. would like to at least stand up for what I think is right, especially towards people who are a lot more older than I am.

    3) Have faith and confidence in preaching the gospel

    4) More confidence talking to ladies, especially the pretty ones opps!

That's all, I hope I have answered your question!

I will prepare well, I know exactly what I am talking about, then talk to the mirror alone, gather friends or family or a small group preach/speech/talk to them and then before a crowd. If it is not speaking in front of people, Then what ever your endeavours, confidence comes with practice, practice more practice I think?

I might be stating the obvious, but the only way of getting good at something
        is actually doing it.

When you do something you are not good at, it is very hard at first, it looks scary,
you can't do it right. But, as you do it over and over again, it gets easier and easier,
and suddenly you realize that it's become a second nature.

Of course, before doing it, you need to make every possible effort to prepare
physically and mentally for the challenge. Then, as you do it, get feedback, see
what you are doing well, what not, what you could improve and tweak accordingly.

        Best of luck

I wish I can summon more confidence to start my own blog already. I plan on putting up a personal blog, more like an online journal/photoblog with an accompanying story for each personal photo posted. I don't plan to actively monetize it. I want to start a blog so I can hone my writing skills. I get scared at the thought of people I know reading it and criticizing the way I write.

So actually, I not only lack confidence in my ability to initiate this long planned project but also in my skills as a writer.

This dearth of self-confidence stems from years of writing abstinence from creative writing. I used to write fiction (or disguised autobiographies) and poetry. Sure, I have been writing quite often for others but the kind of writing I am doing right now is informative professional writing. I want to write on a personal level again.

Raising your confidence levels will improve your life. Having a healthy self esteem makes it so much easier for you to achieve your goals whether that's in terms of your career, your relationships or even just being so much happier about life.

The other amazing, wonderful, result of building self confidence is that you'll not only be thrilled about living your life to the fullest, your excitement and energy will also rub off on those around you. So, by increasing your own confidence, you're also helping those you come in contact with. It's a win-win situation.

The questions are in relation to a product I am in the process of making on self-confidence.

The answers will add to the finding I have made through working with my clients and in the coming weeks I will be asking for around 5 'guinea pigs' to work on the exercises in my product as a way of tweaking it further.

      Thanks for your interest.

I'd like to have more confidence talking in a crowd or presenting myself in front of the audience. I think having stage fright prevents me from doing this. I hope I could overcome this fear.

I've spend a lot of time discussing "confidence issues" with people.. I don't know if there is one answer on what they would like confidence in.. but I do know what lowers it the most: being too dependent on what other people think of you, and feeling the opinions of strangers are more important than your own. I've seen people just deflate like balloons over a single word or phrase from someone they barely know, and very likely may never see again.

    Hi Aaron

I would like more confidence in well.........myself. I have always lacked self confidence and when you are the I.M game this can make things pretty hard (hasn't held me back though). If you dont believe in yourself then why would other people believe in you? let alone buy something from you. To ask what holds you back can, for some people, be tricky as they know they are low in confidence but they don't know why or they had a bad up bringing, bullied, etc.
What holds me back is the fear of failure, the fear of rejection and the fear of ridicule.
    Hope this helps

    Hi friends,
Being able to speak in front of a group or a lady or where it matters is an inborn gift for some.
But it is a skill that can be learned by getting the correct guidance and practice.
Now I know its not decent to tout your own programs but after reading some of the posts in this thread, i think my Complete Public Speaking System would help. And if you like you can promote it. Its on clickbank
