How to find life purpose and live life to the fullest!

Efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction.
John F. Kennedy

What do you want out of this life, what do you want out this world? Ask yourself that question and answer it. It's not enough just to make an extra effort to achieve something when you are not aware if you are going in the right direction.

What is the reason of your existence on this planet?

Is it to work from 9am to 5pm the job that you don't even like, or to live in the city or country that you don't even like, to live in your parents house? What is your purpose?
To continue this exercise you need to start by creating a simple list of things that you feel you need to achieve and to live by.
Don't be afraid of beginnings be afraid of being lost and not knowing where are you going. This always motivates me: Imagine yourself 50 years from now you are lying on your bed and dying, do you want to feel like you lived for no reason, that you wasted your whole life on the meaningless things that doesn't matter, or do you want to think how this life was a crazy ride and you lived your life to the fullest and you wouldn't change a thing?

You need to set your priorities straight. No more watching TV 4hrs a day, and procrastinating from actually starting to live. I was afraid and procrastinated for months, I was afraid of success. You can't make the same mistake. Read tips on How to avoid procrastination here.
When you are just starting out, it will be tough and no one will bother to help you out. You need to make a commitment to yourself that you are going to finish what you started no matter what. You have a goal – go get it.

Make a list - of the things that you like to do, but avoid putting on the list things like: sleeping, watching TV... Put the things like: Running, working out in the gym, writing – stuff that matters.
Now make a plan - and commit yourself to it. Let's just say you started working out in the gym and it's your first training and after 30 minutes you are feeling tired and in pain, THIS IS WHERE YOU NEED NOT to give up and to plow trough it. Remember pain is weakness leaving your body. With every second you are becoming stronger.

Write down emotional things that drive you to achieve something more in this life - It's not enough only to write down your goals that you want to achieve you need to write next to that goal emotional reason. Why do you need to have that job, or to lose weight or live in that city? Avoid writing generic stuff like to earn more money or to be healthier. Go deeper and find the real reasons why. This is what is going to push you over the edge.

Stop Listening to other people - Stop listening people that are putting you in a bad mood telling you that you are not able to do this or that. Instead of that use their words for motivating yourself to achieve even greater things. On your journey there will be a lot of people who will be jealous of your commitment and success because they are not mentally strong enough to do that stuff they will try to put you down. Don't listen to them, in fact stop hanging out with them, they don't deserve to be around you. You are way better then them - show them that.

Motivate yourself constantly - By motivating yourself you are keeping the momentum alive, and the longer you do that the better result you will achieve. It's completely normal to lose motivation and feel depressed sometimes. Don't feel bad about that. This is the real test for you, the way you deal with those situations and decisions is what makes the difference between you and some poor chump who will never amount anything in his life. This is simply because he is to week to deal with tough moments and just gives up. Remember this.

Get the f*ck out of your comfort zone - This is the most important thing of all, when you learn to get out of your comfort zone you will achieve great things. No one ever accomplished anything meaningful by hiding in the comfort zone. When you feel that it's too easy, you are not doing it right. Of course eventually things will get easier, but in the beginning it needs to be tough and you will just have to deal with it.

Do you know the difference between you and some former US Presidents? There is only one, and it’s not the level of IQ, but the fact that they were out of their comfort zone all the time for example: Abraham Lincoln IQ was 128 which is average, Andrew Jackson also a former US president had 123 IQ level, Ulysses S. Grant had IQ of only 110, Thomas Jefferson was another US president with the IQ of 138. Those wore all former US presidents, no one had IQ above average so they are not smarter than you, they just worked harder to achieve great things in their lives. Now it's your turn.
So now when you have basic idea where to start, stop reading and start acting but this by the plan, if you work hard enough you will reap the prize, never doubt that.

What a helpful thoughts! Thank you for posting up! I believe that living with purpose makes our lives more significant and worthy. It is like sailing a boat with a compass. it gives you direction. That direction leads you to your destination and that destination leads you to your goal or success.

Great read! I especially like the part on getting "out of your comfort zone." I agree, nothing will ever be accomplished nor will a potential be in full bloom if nothing is being done about it. While it is safer to stay where we are most comfortable at, trying out the unknown might be the adventure that could make the difference in our life.

I would like to build on this "get out of your comfort zone" idea.

If you are not making enough money, you need to take the risk of getting out of your comfort zone. Perhaps all that is required is for you to raise your rates or prices.

If you were at the income level you desire, it would be in your comfort zone already.

We look at the false barrier, and say, "Oh no, I could not do that." There are all sorts of psychological barriers. What you find as you go forward is that they are all artificial and self-imposed. Who said you couldn't make that money?

I sell info products. My first info product was $20. It now sells for $47 and could easily be higher. That was a psychological barrier: getting it to sell at over $20.

Then a $197 product. Would that sell? The battle is in my mind. Yes, of course it sold.

Next will be a $997 product. I've never tried selling an info product for that much. You see? I'm already saying "that much." I should be saying "that little"! All this is in MY head.

Same for you. If you have a low-paying job you hate, it's your comfort zone to stay there and say you can't make any more money. To change your situation, you're going to have to get uncomfortable. Embrace it.

Now, as far as life purpose goes, don't be all tied up in figuring it out. Find your purpose for Right Now. You can always change it. And it should change as you do.

I think the easies and shortest way to find a purpose in your life is to involve yourself in a charity. If you love nature, you could look at various charities about wildlife protection and not just donate, but do some marketing for them. Or you actually, physically help them out, perhaps even get to go out into the field. Once you involve yourself, you have a purpose. And no matter how rich you become, saving nature is a task that's never complete. You will never outgrow it, like you will outgrow the need to make money, once you have enough of it.

well said arroway, when you do lot of charity(basically adding value to the life of others) you don't sit around and think about your own worries and get worried. That attitude comes from feeling wealthy inside and having gratitude.

Ideas on How to Find Your Life Purpose and Life Intentions

Especially in these challenging times, setting clear intentions and developing and refining our life purpose can make it much easier to navigate stormy waters.
There are many ways to both find and develop your life purpose and intentions. Below are a number of useful resources to help you on this path of discovery. This information is provided to inspire you to be all that you can be and to lead an ever richer, fuller life.
A great way to start exploring your life purpose and intentions is to stop for a moment and ask yourself these two key questions:
What is most important to me in my life?
What are my deepest values and beliefs?
Give yourself time to explore these important questions and notice what touches and inspires you most deeply. Write down any answers or thoughts that come to you as you ponder these questions. Move toward joy. Use your emotions as your guide to determine if you are on the right path or not. I am talking about using your internal compass to discover who you are and what you were meant to be/do/discover. This is a deep study of self, but on the simplest lever...move toward what brings you joy, move away from what does not bring you joy. Use your emotions as your indicator.
