I agree... this is a great post! I thought about it and each aspect of life applies in some way but there is one that is a consistent theme in my life.

Life is a struggle... face it.

I'm fighting hard to get my life back on track. I want to be free of financial debt. I ran into many horrors because of it and I dream to be free of the burden of debt. I don't want to struggle to the next check, sometimes starving because I can't afford food to eat. I work seven days a week to make that happen. I have a day job that's horrible but I come home and work harder to make my dreams come true. I love writing and IM and I'm going to stick with that until I'm no longer able to, hopefully until my last breath.

I love philosophy and I recently read something from Nietzsche that inspires me to keep fighting. "Suppose nothing else were "given" as real except our world of desires and passions, and we could not get down, or up, to any other "reality" besides the reality of our drives--- for thinking is merely a relation of these drives to each other". He goes deeper into that meaning, which is about a page and a half long, so I won't write the whole passage here but that's the essence of it.

My reality is that if I keep fighting and working hard every day, one day I'll experience true happiness. To be free of my day job, no serious debts, or worrying if I have enough money to pay the rent. I have no doubts it's going to happen. The struggle builds more layers of strength. If I see a debt free existence as my reality, every day that I work towards making it happen will cause for it to happen.

"Life is a duty - perform it."

My daughter needed help with her school projects. Even if I was "exhausted beyond exhaustion," I had to perform my duty as a parent and help her accomplish her assigned tasks.

My life = my kids. Sometimes it's overwhelming, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Like many of you, I appreciate most, if not all items on the list. Which one do I personally need to further develop? I think it would be "Life is a Mystery ... Unfold it" because, while I do have firm spiritual beliefs, I still need to learn how best to fit my talents, interests and goals into the broader scheme of things to add greater value to the world... while I am here.

For me, Life is a Game.

Just like in a game, it doesn't matter what you do, whether you just sit down all the time or fighting monsters all the time. Do everything at your own pace. If you want to be stronger, go and kill some monsters. Take action. Everything is just fine.

I think it basically means to live life to its fullest!

We all have different giftings, talents and skills in life and we should utilize those to best of our abilities and never take them for granted or let them lie dormant and be wasted.

Hence, life is a song...sing it, life is a game...play it, life is a race...run it, life is a puzzle...solve it, etc.

I like life is a gift...say thank you!
