Focus for leaders.

It is usually said that you should not focus on too many things at once. But I think leaders have to focus on too many things at once. Isn't it? Leader can't only focus on finance and forget marketing for a while. I guess focus is the word for mangers not leaders.
By the way, is it true that if you focus on something, universe makes it happen for you?

    I suggest reading the Law Of Success In 16 Lessons By Napoleon Hill for the answer to this question.

    However you feel comfortable wording it, weather it be the "universe" or something else, it is TRUE that what you focus on, you bring into your life.

    Diversification is not a successful way of reaching your goals. You need to be specifically driven and obsessed with one course. Many of the top leaders outsource the rest and continuously focus on their main objective. This objective can change when the goal is reached, but it is always one focus.

    A book I really like with respect to uncluttering your business is Michael Gerber's E Myth Revisited.

    Focusing on the details AND having a good overall picture are both extremely important - but at different times. This book really helps to explain what is important to do and at what point.

    He basically walks you through the process of creating a detailed operations manual for your business (or whichever activity you want to systematize) in such a way that you can hand off different recurring tasks to employees or outsourcers until your input is no longer required for things to run smoothly.

    Really good read. Highly recommended

    I truly believe that if you want to get something in life you need to have focus and determination to get it. Having so much in your head with get you distracted making it hard for you to do things. Doing several things at a time takes good multitasking skills.
