Want to stop selling time and start getting passive
This time around I'm putting more energy into my efforts than ever before and would love to hear how other people handled similar points when they were getting started.
Here's the thing. In terms of raw numbers I have actually been pretty successful online. I started a little over five years ago as a content writer and have done pretty well for myself. I average more than $6K a month and in really good months, when outsourcing, can hit almost double that.
But, I'm still selling time for money. I work 40+ hours a week and then there's always the chance that my better paying clients go on vacation or I have a slump so I have to work even more hours. So, it's time to get passive.
I have a PLR site I've been working on in recent weeks, hoping to get traction, and I have some affiliate sites that have been floating around in the background for a couple years, and I launched my first WSO with a JV in March, but nothing has really caught hold yet.
What did you do when you were at that point - tired of selling time for money and really dedicated to getting something out of your IM efforts? I feel like I need to diversify my efforts to maximize the chance of succeeding, and then I feel like if I do that I will shortchange myself on each of the things I do. I want to go 100% into whatever I do but until something gets some traction, I'm finding it hard to decide which of those things it should be.
It's a funny state of limbo to be in and I'm definitely not complaining (I am having a blast learning how to drive traffic, writing PLR sets and testing WSO strategies), but at the same time I have to jump start an income here soon or spend some more time writing.
Thanks for reading - I'd love your insights.
