Here Is My WHY To Achieve Financial Freedom. Post Yours!

Hello everyone! ^^ My name is Lovenus. I am a 24 years old Male Chinese from Singapore.

Having a positive and right mindset is extremely crucial in helping us to achieve our goals. I believe many people already know about this.

However, not many people do goal setting nor write down their WHY of achieving their goals.

The trick to etch your WHY (burning desire) deeply in your subconscious mind is first to list them down and be as specific as possible.

The more specific you are, the easier it is for you to visualize it so that it will constantly remind you whenever you are straying away from success.

Let me start the ball rolling on my WHY
1) Owning a Black Lambourghini Reventon
2) Staying at Sentosa Cove in Singapore
3) Travel with my family once every 3 months
4) Retire my family and wife's family
5) Want to let people know who I am by helping them
6) Meeting successful people, stars, singers and take photos with them
7) TIME - Most important to me because all of us do not live forever

I hope that by sharing my WHY, I can motivate people to achieve a better mindset and thus a better life.

Do not be afraid to post your WHY below.

Remember, every successful people have one thing in common.
They all have a burning desire(WHY).

For me the reason why I want to achieve financial freedom is much more mundane than the original poster. I lost my (very well paying) job and need to replace my income.

    End of story

    Ok here goes,

Don't get tied down with a wish list, it will distract you. Ambition is fantastic but Avarice can be a burden.

Set your course to do something that you really enjoy, and work hard to be the very best you can, Don't go looking for a quick fix and a fast route to wealth because often its not the result that you where expecting.

Always help other people and do not do this just for reward, equally do not be afraid to ask others for help if you need it.

Last of all be a good person with honest morales, you will find that everything that you "Really " need to enjoy a happy and healthy life is already at your fingertips.

Be Well my friend and I wish you every success on your journey

Why do I want to achieve financial freedom?

        Well, I'm a modest gal. I don't want much...

        1. I want to own a Maserati Gran Turismo (Black).
        2. I want to build a custom home on 2 acres. (No more neighbors to steal my newspaper, let their dog crap in my yard or put their garbage in my trash can when I set it out on the curb! :rolleyes
        3. Purchase an unlimited number of shoes from Minolo Blahnik, Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin, and other luxury shoe brands.
        4. Give my kids the best education in the world.
        5. Travel with my children to foreign countries to expose them to new cultures.

I've never been one to get motivated by personal goals. In the past, at least, it was always the pain of not wanting something that motivated me to work harder than it was the pleasure of something. Years ago I adopted the motto that I wanted financial freedom so that I could simply "Do whatever I want, whenever I want." Doesn't sound like a powerful motivator, but it worked for me as it made it simple to define absolute success (if every day I can't do whatever I want, then I'm not there yet!).

Now with that said, there is one VERY powerful motivator that keeps me working hard: before I die I want to fly into space and take a spacewalk. With private enterprise working on such a service right now, I'm working on making sure I not only have the cash to do it, but that I have the cash to keep on doing it as often as there are flights! :-)

For me it's about freedom. The freedom to work when I choose, where I choose and doing what I choose rather than the conventional job I have now.

I am not bothered about having fancy cars or huge houses, but I would like the freedom to travel and experience as much as possible.

I would like to be in a position to help my family when they need it, and to be able to treat them to things they would never be able to otherwise afford.

  • There are things in this world that I want to do for people. I want to be able to influence society through a no-limit, abundant lifestyle where people can transcend the boundaries of their imagination. Money is often one of the biggest illusional barriers to this, so I want to prove that an ordinary young boy like me can do it - which will prove to others that they can too.

I want to move the world towards mutual understanding. A lot of our problems, dilemmas, bitchings usually involves, relates to, or is a derivative of being broke or not enough money. If I can make more money and help others make more too, we can focus our attention on other things that don't involve money. Like spending time with our loved ones, etc.

I believe us Warriors here at this forum have the responsibility of making life better for certain groups of people (in other words, our 'niche'). We market this unique 'value' that we all have in order to make whichever groups of people we are trying to help become better.

More money and financial freedom will definitely help us do this a lot more effectively and efficiently. With more money, we can inject so much into our business to the point that it will be large enough to give a s***load of value to a s***load of people.

I am going to be some sort of venture capitalist or an angel investor. I am going to be able to help people grow their ideas and leverage off me in order to make their own vision realized.

Having said that, some material things would be nice too. Like an Aston Martin DBS, a 458 Italia, some yachts, penthouse, helicopters, a Gulfstream G650 and all that jazz.

And finally, last but not least, there will be the one day, when the world has had enough of Michaelangelo Flores to enjoy, will always be that future family that I will grow. One day, coming home to that woman holding my children and all that stuff.

These are the reasons why my financial freedom is INEVITABLE. Becoming wealthy is DESTINY. There is absolutely NO alternative and there's nothing that can stop it. It has already been decided.

I really like the thought of going into the 'why' of things. However, going through this thread it seems that with many the 'why' is manifested in the material, such as a car, a vacation every now and then, pretty much the financial abundance to do as you please (which I agree is a solid motivator)...

But I believe the 'why' goes a lot further than that, at least it does for me (can't speak for anyone else of course). Actually, I find that the 'why' of things lies in the most basic of our needs. The material motivators in fact seem to be extensions of the basic 'why's'...(excuse me for sounding to 'Dr. Phillish').

Would you (anyone reading this) agree that to be successful in life, it is essential to know what your basic necessities in life are, what it is that really drives you? For example: owning a private jet is a great goal, but isn't it more important to know what lies beneath that wish? (i.e. wanting freedom, wanting fame, wanting to impress others, etc.)

The reason I bring this up is that I know quite some people who have done well financially. Yet when they achieved their goals, they tend to feel empty inside, which leads them to achieve even more financial success, without ever finding the fulfillment they look for. What is the worth of your own plane if you don't know what's in aid of?

In other words: 'why' is not so much a matter of knowing what you want, rather it's knowing who you are.

    Anyone (dis)agree?

    Ps
This was not to imply that anyone who lists material things as a motivator has to do some self exploring. I'm speaking merely from my own experiences.

Why financial freedom? I don't know myself. To afford fancy clothes, good books, and good food, maybe? Not sure. A travel to Germany? Photography around the exotic places?

The real reason I jumped to IM and build a list is because I want to connect with people while make money at the same time. I'm a bit friendless in real life, that's why I love my subscribers. I want to give value in their lives. A small "thank you" email from them is already heart-touching. Making money from them is a bonus.

Achieving financial freedom so that i can do whatever i want whenever and wherever i want. Being stuck in a 9 to 5 job stinks. I mean i am grateful that i have a job compared to those who are unemployed. But what i can't take is the pressure from work, internal office politics, traffic from going to and fro the workplace etc.

I guess for now, my top priority is just to achieve financial freedom so that i can quit my day job.

Thanks birdman87. Yea. Our parents brought us up thus most of us will want to retire them early so that they can start to really enjoy life knowing that they have us looking after them.

      Hi TamilYoung,

Yea. We can buy time but other's people time when we outsource work to them for money.

One person has only 24hours a day, no matter who that person is.

    Money equals freedom ..

Money is only a means to an end, not an end in and of itself. It
gives you freedom to achieve your goals and targets. You literally
achieve the amount of freedom through financial means that you
    believe you can achieve.

    Supporting Ideas:

Money obeys the law of abundance. It must flow freely to be able
    to multiply.

Man’s greatest possession is freedom. Wealth gives freedom.
With it, you’ll see many illusions vanish. You’ll also understand
that true freedom is found in detachment, which is the highest
    form of freedom.

Never lose sight of the true nature of wealth. Don’t let the pursuit
of wealth become an overwhelming desire. Strive instead for the
freedom to achieve your goals that wealth will bring.

With the soft launch of Veretekk Integrated Marketing we are finally implementing the idea of symbiotic marketing. What this means is that we have a group of like-minded and cooperating marketers who are leveraging the power of community exponentially by the linking and cross-posting of each others content and posts not only throughout each one's super powerful Veretekk system, but now that we all have a full social marketing panel, we are able to even increase the potential link juice many more times than before.
Gargantuan campaigns are right now being implemented and rotation based results will be shared by all members. This marketing model has been years coming to fruition. It will require the selfless application of collaboration between the members, but as we are seeing, there is a mutual benefit in that each ones' marketing effort and power is so much greater with a common effort. The rapport within the group is very positive, and we are becoming cohesive due to the mutual self interest and the obvious results so far. As everyone knows, SERP results and page ranks drive traffic, but there is so much more with this system. You simply do not need any other tools or services from any other source. Don't believe me. Check it out! So if you have a site and you want to send it skyward in a big way punch the link in my sig and come aboard. You even get a free trial if you want. I will also show you what our platinum panel is. My feeling is that you have never really gotten serious about marketing if you are not taking advantage of the new symbiotic marketing paradigm. What you can never do by yourself becomes possible by the group strengths. And the more you contribute, the more you get the benefits. Same low price. If you really want financial freedom which lasts and doesn't depend on drive by gurus who are here today and gone tomorrow, you really need to settle down to get set up with a system that Google is not going to slap. Veretekk Integrated Marketing really deserves a thoughtful appraisal. So why do you achieve financial freedom as a member of this group? It's all about leveraging the power of community. Like minded people willing to cooperate for mutual benefit. What better way to achieve financial freedom than this?

For me it's not about money anymore. I don't really care how much money I have. For me, it's all about personal freedom. I just want enough money to remain free. I hate money stress. I just want enough money to never hear an alarm clock ever again, never have to feel small in front of a "boss" again and never have to worry about paying the bills again. I have hobbies and I have passions and making money is not either of those. Money is a means to an end. I've had big cars, fast cars and expensive cars. I've lived in small and huge houses and I've travelled to many countries and those things (as interesting as they may be) all seem to pale after a while. Friends and freedom, that's what it's all about for me.
