I've been having a really hard last 2 weeks.. it's been so hard that it's been messing with my work online and I haven't been able to focus.

The problem revolves around a relationship that I messed up in, because I got so focused on my business, that I thought I didn't need one.

Let's be real.

If you're going to go into this business, you need people there to support you and you still need to be there for them.

Because I didn't take the advice I just now gave you, I lost myself.

I make over $7,000/mo on average working online but because of the faulters recently, I could put all my work into jeopardy.

It's a terrifying thing.. but it's my fault and I need to fix it.

This business is amazing.. to be able to work for yourself and at home is exciting and everyone respects me because of it, but it's also very demanding and challenging once you get further into it. You have to make sure to be consistent and don't slow down, otherwise you might fall behind.

I lost myself.. now it's that time where I have to find myself.

    Hey don't worry

It's a great thing that you identified the problem and you are working to fix it, learning in the process.
Once your pick yourself up again, your business would have grown stronger because YOU have grown stronger as well.

    Hi Justin,

It sounds like you've messed up your priorities. Everything in life are the relationships. Love is about relationships, friendship is about relationships, business is about relationships.

Everything you do in life, is to have a better relationship: with yourself and with others.

It's a good thing you realized where you went wrong though. I'm sure you'll be back on the right path kicking and rocking it real soon

    It happens, Justin.

Biggest thing is to take care of yourself first. Do what you gotta do to find that happiness and life will balance itself out - relationship, work, friendships, and all.

I get lost all of the time! LOL. But somehow I have managed to keep my focal points (my family, my health, and passions - both work and personal) in check so that I always find my way back.

You can and will fix it though Justin. I was in the same spot as you a little less than a year ago. It sucks, and it's hard as hell. It does get better though, as cliche as it sounds.

Tunnel vision can take you to some scary places, that's true.

Give yourself a little credit for recognizing you messed up - some people just go along forever, never thinking about what sort of damage they are doing themselves or others by their "totally focused" behavior. Good on you for catching yourself!

Tomorrow's another day Justin - seize it!

It's never too late to turn things around. You've learned a valuable lesson and shared that lesson with others. You're like one of those wise men that write books on life's lessons so others can benefit. You may have faultered but you're a great human being. You can learn more from this situation and really benefit in the future. And - thank you for sharing.

Justin, I know you're going to get back on track pretty soon. You are one of the few is not only working hard for the most time, but also seems to have a real purpose beyond money making (I've read a lot of your posts here).

You're young. You're smart. Everybody makes mistakes.

I know I'm going to read a post from you in a couple of weeks or months, where you'll tell us how you overcame your struggle and how your life and your business is even greater than ever before.

    All the best.

    Tim

    Hey Justin.

Maybe the beginning of some more “personal growth?” Sometimes we have to crumble to build on a stronger foundation. : )

Or, put differently, losing ourselves so that we can then find ourselves again but having learned something from the experience. : )

Jonathan, I agree with this 100%.

If I wasn't put in this situation, maybe I would have never learned from it. I'm going through some very personal things right now in my life that are a result of working online.

I need to keep my focus on growing my business, but at the same time I need to put it 2nd before relationships, family, and those that really need me.

This situation I'm going through right now could be the change that I needed in my life to show me I was going down the wrong path and ultimately I need to take this experience and make myself a better person so that others around me can rely on me.

        Thanks Justin.

You're smart enough and experienced enough to turn this into something good. : ) You don’t need me to tell you that.

I admire your courage for being so honest with us.
        Good speed. : )

Life is about balance. One can be a fabulous success in one area and a total flop in another. When you are doing poorly in a key area; be it in the financial, physical, or relationship realms, you are hurting.

You never know what you have until you lose it. I know that you will not make the same mistake twice.

Good luck with your balancing act!

It's what you do when no one is watching
that determines what you will be able to

            Hi Justin,

I know exactly where you're at. Yeah... It SUCKS!

I lost everything (And I mean EVERYTHING including my own desires) because of my own stupidity. However, it sounds as though you've realized your mistakes quickly and this can benefit you greatly.

            I was just having a conversation about this with another fellow and he emailed me this;

Napoleon Hill, the grandfather of success principles, wrote in his book "Think and Grow Rich" that one of the key ingredients to success is to...
            ...develop relationships with like-minded people.
            He wrote that...
"No individual may have great power (or monetary success) without being a part of a Mastermind group. Something magical happens when two or more people combine their single dream to form a dream team."

Amazing how that was written so long ago (it was actually written before Napoleon Hill wrote it in several other books) and it still holds true today.
