Turn Yourself From Newbie To Guru In Less Than 24 Hours

Who is a guru or expert? He is not a person with super human powers. A guru is an ordinary person like you and me who has extra knowledge about a particular subject that newbies don't have and good at parting that knowledge to newbies so they don't have to wast time, effort and money reinventing the wheel.

It may have taken the guru to acquire that knowledge days, months or years but he may be able to teach that knowledge in a few hours. Obviously this does not apply to every kind of subject or discipline, but you would be surprised how much you know about a subject that a newbie does not know.

So How do you become a guru in less than 24 hours on a subject?

I am not talking about brain surgery or rocket science here. I am talking about simple things you can learn quickly and teach newbies and help them.

Here is a case study I did on this very forum where I helped newbies and people who is struggling to make money and ready to give up how they can make their 1st Dollar within 10-15 minutes of reading a small report without any special skills and how they can turn that into full time business. I showed them something in an area where they needed help.

You can learn it and teach it to newbies in less than 24 Hours. Or If you have some special skill in some other area, you can help newbies with that skill. Now You are a Guru!!!

It is people like you who killed the guru word. If a guru is anyone, then yeah, you can learn something extremely basic within 24 hours.

If you need to be an expert, you have to spend 10.000 hours first. Now, good luck.

Agreed. It is the "you can be a guru in 24 hour" mindset that earned the term Guru such a negative connotation in the first place. To encourage it is a bad thing for all of us.

A Guru is a title given to someone who sells well known information to other people, that is the secret of all the Gurus!

Actually, a guru is described as heavy, weighty and is derived from a Hindu spiritual teacher... just saying.

But I agree with Joe in not encouraging people to seek to be a guru in the field of internet marketing, especially just by teaching a newbie something you know.

Most marketers that target newbies actually make me raise my eyebrows in suspicion of wanting to exploit the newbie's lack of experience and knowledge for sheer profit.

Of course, there are exceptions such as marketers that have developed a reputation as being honest, trustworthy and providing quality. But someone racing right out of the gates targeting newbies is a cause for concern.

The word guru does indeed have a bad connotation to it, but for me, for totally different reasons. Everytime I hear it, it sends nasty chills down my spine. The picture that comes to mind is a greasy, slicked back, sticky baby kangaroo. Yick!

Gu reminds me of gooey as in "are you still wearing the greasy kid stuff, that icky, sticky, ooey, gooey greasy kid stuff..."

And ru reminds me of roo, a baby kangaroo,

Okay, I guess I just have an active imagination, but I never promised that I always thought the same as the rest of the crowd.

Understatement of the century :p. Another problem I have with self proclaimed gurus is that it preys on pretty much any person who has not been exposed to IM (and the IM niche specifically) yet. They don't know that everyone and their cousin can call themselves one.

Of course, that should be counteracted by new customers performing their due diligence; but that seems to be too much work for them to attempt these days...

          Hahaha Joe! :p

But you are right about new customers and newcomers to the IM industry doing their due diligence.

I'm afraid that those that have the get rich quick mindset in the offline world carry over into the online world and are the one's believing the promises of riches with little to no work.

As long as those types abound, the false promises and scams will continue to thrive.
