Why You Can Say F-You To Finding Your Passions

Life design first, passions second.
Then ask yourself that question: who do you want to BE? Not what do you want to DO.
Create (and note the use of the word 'create' and not 'discover') a business around your life - not the other way around.
And that means straight up, you need to take control. If someone else is no longer defining who you are and what you do, then YOU, honey are the one creating your solution; you are making the rules. And there is no rule that says "you have to be passionate about a specific topic in order to have an amazing life".

Thanks Joe, for the share! Good Insight. I liked the point on finding "our passions"

"Let’s stop the myth that ‘I can’t find my passion’. Your passions are not OUT THERE to be stumbled across. They never have been. They have always been within you."

When i preferred the idea in locating "our passions"

"Let’s stop the fable in which ‘I can’t locate my personal passion’. The passions are not OUT THERE to be stumbled across. That they not have been recently. That they are within people. ".

I feel that when people mention the word passion, they somehow mean the middle point between motivation and success. But as the saying goes, both of these are decided by the beholder.

Passion implies (in modern times) that you must 'do' something with your life, career wise. I am totally against this train of thought. You do not need a job to be passionate. The word "passion" is so broad.

Personally... I have passions, but I don't think I could make $$ off them nor would I want to. One of my biggest passions is Traveling. I have made $$ off passions and have discovered that they often cease to remain passions as you have tired them. Travel is so sacred to me, I would never want to get over it.

Success on the other hand is EXCLUSIVELY (I believe) defined by yourself. Society, parents and friends cannot detail what you mention as successful.
