Random Motivation Notes #2
Failure: As hard to believe as this may seem, failure is one of the greatest of the success forces. Each time you fail, you develop a force that pushes you closer and closer to success. Fail enough times and your chances of success multiply. And each time you succeed, you create a force that is driving you closer to failure. Obviously there's a balance here. But the most incredible fact in the dynamics of this success force is that we all fail so many more times than we succeed. So if we accept a failure for what it really is-a powerful success force – we will be less likely to give up.
Problems: Each problem you encounter has hidden in it an opportunity so powerful that it literally dwarfs the problem. The greatest success stories were created by people who recognized a problem and turned it into an opportunity. Failure and problems appear to be negative forces, but in reality problems have hidden within them the seeds to create great success. In the future, if a problem confronts you, pause and say, "Where is the opportunity in this?" You'll be amazed at the powerful success force that will follow the solution.
What you need, Tycoon, are more problems and bigger failures.
