Since this is posted in Mindset section my suggestion is:

Visualize your blog being popular every day. See people clicking your links and buying products. See them getting value. And enjoy how it feels.

First my wishes for taking ACTION and for the mindset of not expecting immediate monetization. Working strategically towards results on a Goal means success is soon on your way!

1. Pick a niche you love to talk about and won't get tired of. This will keep you automatically enthusiastic. It will also give you the ability to keep rolling on making content even if your visitor count stays low at first.

2. Choose your SEO terms wisely.

3. Connect up with some topic-related forums and share your wisdom. Link up. Give people a reason to come over to your blog--tease them with some useful or fun original content, and lure them over there with the promise of more.

4. Keep studying, learning and applying knowledge related to your blog topic. Don't get stale and rest on your laurels. You need to keep having new and interesting things to talk about, even if it's just "in more depth" looks at earlier subjects.

5. Find guest bloggers who are happy to contribute an article a month. Get some different voices in there. Maybe pick someone who has different views than you on your topic, and engage in some playful banter. Nothing gets people interested like controversy.

Keep it fun! The moment it becomes a job, you'll quit.

First, I'd suggest get a domain name and hosting, write lots of quality content, do some
basic SEO, get autoresponder and put opt-in forms on every one of your pages (for list building).

You've created a great site. If you want to reach a wider audience, why don't you use words that are easy to understand? It's good if individuals from different age groups can read your blogs. You can also promote your website on the internet by using links.

Try looking into SEO (Search Engine Optimization) tactics, find a keyword in your niche, then kill it! Gets great traffic, and its free!

Well, content is the king! and Social medias is for branding. Utilized both and at no time, your blog will be flood with visitors.

I tried submitting my blog into blog carnivals. I really helped to boost my visibility. You can try it too!

My tip is, don't be satisfied on what you have done already! Try for something better than yesterday. Your desire to make it popular, yes only your desire will show you the way. Actually I think, you are on the right track.
