What does success mean to you?

When was the last time you felt really good? I mean really good?

I think there is a general misunderstanding between what people think success is and what it really means for them.

Success is something that is determined on perception and your internal state.

There is no such thing as saying; Success has to mean to you the same as to your best friend. Don't let your family, friends, business partners, TV, religion, newspaper or anything else you can think about program your mindset of success.

Ok, so what does success mean to you? Let's state our own - personal meaning of success!

For me success will mean an eternal vacation... or at least having the option of having one.

Success to me means that I have arrived, and when I get their like Gerald said it would start with most likely my internal state of mind. It would not really mean a certain amount of money although that is what most of us shoot for. Freedom to make choices without someone making them for you, time freedom and the ability to enjoy that time with your loved ones and friends. I'm sure there are others that can add to that.

Success to me means having all my predominant and important goals accomplished. They encompass all facets of life.... but they are all totally within reach and totally achievable.

I do however, dislike the "traditional" view of success, which is working for a "large" corporation, earning the "big" $$$... whilst also slaving away for them and having no private life. Yeah... not my definition of success. Of course, this is a generalization though.

There are various levels of success for each individual, and it can mean different things at each level.

At a basic level, success for me is when I receive payment from a client when a contracted project is finished. I feel good when the project is finished ... but I feel GREAT when I open my mailbox and there's money waiting for me! That is success to me.

Success for me is associated with money. I am successful if I have a big mansion, nice car, great career and big businesses.

Success... It can't be described in one sentence. It's a chain of situations that are linked to another and practically it's an infinite thing, not an achievement but the door to another possibilities and this make it infinite...

For me, success means to achieve what I´ve pictured in my mind. Success is about realizing what you can get out of something, and doing everything possible to make it happen.

Success is definitely not money, but it´s about striving for breakthroughs. Real joy and happiness is created by working on something that´s not easy, but very doable in the long term.

success to me means being wealthy, going to sleep and waking up knowing that I don't have to do any work because the money has been made and will keep coming, meaning I have more free time to spend with my loved ones.

Success to me means having your health, wealth and family near you. Knowing you have at least one great friend to share it all with. Never having to look back but always looking forward!

The question is: Is your glass half empty or half Full? Thank about that a moment.

Success is not how many exotic cars you have, the size of your mansion or how many sales you've generated.

Success is in direct proportion to your ability to help others succeed. Tell me how many people you've helped and I'll tell you how successful you are.

Side Note: That's why I say teachers are the most under-rated, underpaid and under appreciated profession in the world ... bar none!

You are right success will have a different meaning to everyone. For me success is defined simply by the ability to have options.

Being able to do things, go places, help out etc. without the slightest hesitation of saying there is not enough money or enough time.

Reaching a life of abundance by doing something that I love and enjoy doing on a daily basis to not only make it a better place for myself but also for those around me and of course those I continue to come across with in my life.

Success means a few things to me...

    1. Complete time and financial freedom.
    2. Waking up each and every day knowing I am contributing to the world utilizing my talents and skills rather than just simply going through the motions.
    3. Maintaining high levels of health & fitness.
    4. Having passion for life

It's not about money or cars or other things for me. I mostly interested in having complete control of my most important asset...TIME.
