Love relationships. Lift you to new heights of success, or drag you down to sub-par performance?

I've been pondering this question for a long time now. Can a love relationship be helpful in achieving your success, or does all the extra time, effort and energy involved mean sup-par success performance?

Napoleon Hill in the classic, Think and Grow Rich talks about the potent power of transmuting sex energy as an essential part of getting rich. What do you think? Has anyone here actually experienced what he's talking about?

Quite simply, it depends. There are a ton of variables that can change the outcome of any situation.

I couldn't comment on that. Somehow, separating business and...er "pleasure" seems like a smart thing to do though.

If the love is real love (not talking about infatuation), then it always lead to success if gone through sincere one. Many people achieved a lot after their love failures that means it depends on the person mental condition.

Glad you ask this question, my friend Ender! I've been having the same thoughts on my mind since my EX became an EX The main reason for the split being me not having enough time for her. A part of me wants to say "It's her lost", but i'd have to admit, it was mine indeed...

Anyway, life goes on. And today, im asking myself "what could i have done differently if i had another chance?" Well, first of all, i think i ought to find girls with a LITTLE BIT MORE INTEREST and RESPECT to the IM industry. Because the last one was pretty much a hater :p (can't blame them...)

They don't need to be a fan about it... Just an open mind toward the attainment of IM success. Heck, i did give a damn about her yoga classes, now did't I??? So i guess it all comes down to supporting each other in their own endeavors. Because when that happens, i believe the benefits overflow to other areas of your life... INCLUDING YOUR BUSINESS

    Cheers!

A true life partner is necessary for success in life. And if you life partner is not sincere, then you are probably gone.
As Napoleon Hill writes in his book about power and impact of sexual relationship, he seems right. As he has also given examples of some of the great leaders and their sexual relationships. But its not related with money I guess. He also says that it has to do something with leadership.

Find a woman (or man, whatever floats your boat) that can be a vital part of your success and help push you forward in business. Make sure she's attractive and can bring potential clients to you at any business parties. Haha

Love can make you feel higher than standing on your toes on Mount Everest.
But it can also make you feel as blue as the sky you just fell down from (yeah, I'm feeling poetic today)

Anyway, if love makes you high, you feel like you can conquer the world, which is a healthy mindset for someone in IM. On the other hand, if love makes you down, it will pull you down.

Every human being needs love, but for most of us love is both a blessing and a burden, often at the same time even. I think it's safe to say that en experience as total and overwhelming as love will transpose onto your career/work. So with that said, I think love definitely influences your career, but I don't think it's a matter of time or money you spend on the person you love. I think it's a matter of what the one you love is feeding you energy-wise. If you're lucky enough to be in a loving committed relationship, achieving success in IM will definitely be easier.

I find that if you are with someone who does not support your business, you may be in for a rough ride. It's got more to do with a prosperity consciousness than anything else. Basically, if she is way too negative about money it will affect you.

And this is true for friendships: if your friends complain about money all the time, it will affect you and cause you to slow down your progress.

This is why Napoleon Hill talks about associating with rich people so that you would take on their way of thinking over time just by association.

With regards to sex transmutation, at least 2 people on youtube claim you can get yourself to stay motivated and active by looking at a sexy woman, being turned on, and then transferring that turned on feeling towards your goals.

It didn't work for me, but perhaps I didn't do it right?

However, I notice that abstaining from porn/masturbation helps me stay focused and energized. I literally feel a lot more in control as a result of cutting that out of my life. (That is not to say that I discourage sex in anyway.)

I share this because I'm sure there are men reading this who may have porn/masturbation problems that may be significantly affecting their energy levels and therefore their business/productivity. Anyone looking to learn further would do well to go here and also read this to get a better undestanding of what I'm talking about. Hope this is helpful!
