Favorite Self Improvement Course

Hey guys and gals,

I've always been massively into self improvement. I try to keep up with many self improvement blogs.

Lately, I've found myself some spare time and I'm looking to take a course or two...

But there's so many courses out there I can't pick! I've been looking into one of Tony Robbin's courses - for instance 'Personal Power II' - which covers everything.

Then again, I've heard many stories about how much completing a 'speed reading' has changed lives.

I'm looking for a few opinions

What courses have you completed? And how did they change your life?

- Trevor

Haven't really completed any courses but you might wanna check out dailyom.com

It might have some stuff on there thatyou like + you can choose what you want to pay for them

Dan Millman has courses on there aswell, the writer of Peaceful Warrior!
If you dismiss the things that do not matter; if you remove those things from your mind and focus on what must be done; if you understand that your time is limited and decide to work now; only then will you be able to get to the finish line.

A recent program I just listened to that I consider one of the most life changing for me is The 10x Rule by Grant Cardone. I downloaded the audio from iTunes and have listened to it 3 times already. It's great for changing your perception on what has to be done in order to succeed at anything in life.

Trevor, I have always been a self help nut everything from learning to motivation to mind power. The best books I have read are...

1.How 2 Double your power to learn by Eugene Schwartz

    2. the Einstein mind I do not remember the author

    3. How to believe in things you cannot see by William Cato. oh, wait... that hasn't been published yet

It really depends on what you want to accomplish. I love to learn so for me speed reading will be my pick.

There are many different type of courses on the market place. i would suggest that firstly you understand what your are trying to improve within yourself.
    Some suggestions to learn
Neuro Lingistic Programming (NLP)- Many instructors around
    Spiral Dynamics- Understand value systems

Anthony Robbins is one of the best on stage. Alot of what he does is NLP and so you may want to learn that to understand the techniques.

Good luck with your course search

life.. is my favorite self improvement course .. i found i have been taking this course for 10's of thousands of year.. when i think i have finished it .. i get to the other side and find so many reasons to take the course again ..

It's not the self improvement course you take that matter.. it is when you get to a point in life where you realize self improvement matters ..

a cooking class that teaches you how to cook healthy great tasting food for yourself and those around you.. can be an amazing self improvement course ..

swimming lessons because swimming for many people is one of the best excersizes ..great self improvement course ..

the key thing about the motivational author self improvement courses.. is that they can be key in getting you into the habit of self improvement ..

    ahh but i rant

Tony Robbins "Get the Edge" is good if you are looking for a course.

One of the things that I like about Tony Robbins is other than the personal development side of things he is a brilliant salesman. You can learn a lot about how to market, persuade and sell by watching Tony in action.

Listening to these self-improvement courses is time well spent, if you use it.

But, many---sadly, the great majority---of people do not benefit from the information. They nod their head and say, "Great information." Some actually plan to start the personal improvement program; but then delay the start, and delay it again... and again.

I hope you find your program, Trevor. And I hope you use it!!!

It's what you do when no one is watching
that determines what you will be able to
    do when everyone is watching.
