5 x BIG motivation :)

Every once in a while you see something that inspires you. Something that motivates you to keep doing what it is you do. This can be anything - a person, a story, a movie, etc. Myself, I get most of my inspiration and motivation from the stories of other people. People that have an interesting story to tell. People that try to make a difference. People that LIVE.

Some of these stories are captured on video in a great way, making these short videos inspirational and motivation in itself. I'd like to share a few videos that inspired me, and I would recommend watching them all. You probably already know some of them, but trust me: it can't hurt to watch these videos again.

Here we go

"You want something? Go get it. Period."
I bet most of you know the story about Chris Gardner, a self-made successful stock broker. If not, I strongly suggest watching the movie The Pursuit Of Happyness. Here's my favorite part of the movie:

"If you want something in life, reach out and grab it"

Into The Wild, definitely one of my favorite movies out there. It's a true story about Christopher McCandless, a young guy that burned his money, thrashed his car and started doing what he really wanted to do: traveling. Truly inspirational, and he was 100 % right: If you want something in life, reach out and grab it.

"How bad do you want it?"
I recently came across this video. The voice-over is a motivational speech from Sean Walker.

Watch it.

You'll understand why I put it here.

"I love living life. I am happy."
Nick Vujicic, what a hero! the guy has no limbs, but you'll be amazed what he's capable of. Truly amazing...

Watch this video, and you'll see with your own eyes that everything is possible.

"Entrepreneurs can change the world"
Not a movie about one particular person or story, but it still works very motivational for me (as an entrepreneur). It's made by the guys behind GrassGopper (see how adding videos to YouTube can be a good linkbait?).

I'd recommend watching all 5 short videos. It'll only take a few minutes of your time, and I promise it will be worth your while.

Which one works best for you? And do you have any other suggestions to watch?

    Hey Wilco,

That is one awesome share right there and thank you for bringing the gift of awakening and empowerment to us all once again.

I personally used this form of message for several years as I developed my mindset and recognise the value of repeated listening and refreshement.

I however have moved on and now find it harder to listen to messages that have a great impact as I have found clarity within my own soul which means that my journey is simplified through this clear vision.

I know this might sound corny but I have in fact found the source of empowerment within the people who I work with, the knowledge that my work is changing lives in a small way and knowing that whatever I have travelled through in my previous years is fianlly coming through to bear fruits by adding value to others around me.

I am truly blessed with the power of clarity in my own mind and the wisdom of great friends around me. I can never fail now because I already have everything.

Thanks again Wilco, I look forward to reading what others have discovered by travelling through your video journey.

      Thanks for your insights Tony!

I have to admit that these kind of videos used to affect me more in the past then they currently do. Like you said, working with great people and to have some "inner peace" (that does sound cheesy indeed ) is much more effective

However, when (at some point) I lose some of my motivation - yes, that does happen - these kind of videos remind me of what I was doing and WHY I was doing it.

      Thanks again!
