Made my $1.62 on iWriter (and got a 5 star rating!).

The reason I signed up to write articles was that I wanted to improve my writing skills in an area that is closely related to IM. Since I am planning to build an empire of web sites, which involves writing content, I thought I'd build a writing skill and get paid in the process.

Of course, I do not plan on making a living being an iWriter contributor as the pay is ridiculous, but only to build my skill and see what people are expecting out of "articles".

And no, I am not a shill for iWriter. Simply wanted to share.

Congrats for your first bucks online!
Of course writing articles is not a "become millionaire online" business but it is a beginning

Hey I have known people who are even multimillionaire doing the writing business. They initially started off with writing articles, then they hired writes and when their sales thread clicked on different forums, orders kept pouring in and soon they had 15 writers working in their office. It's possible to do things, we just need to know how it needs to be done. And btw, congrats for your first earnings. I have had good experience with iwriter. Their functioning is good but pay is way too low initially and even latter onwards they pay $5 per 500, which again would seem low to an experienced writer. Anyways keep writing and you can make good money out of it too but I would always suggest IM because IM is BEST.

Thanks, guys, for the vote of confidence.

I am certainly not planning on making a living on iWriter. But as I was reading a bunch on this site (which is awesome btw) on IM, I was hesitant to start because I was worried about the writing part. And then I was like, what the heck, what do I have to lose, let me try it. So I wrote an article, and now have a second one written pending approval.

I already can see that the writing skill can be learned, mastered, (to a degree of course) and applied. My goal is to write well enough to attract audience to my web sites, and keep them happy of course.

Hi dadadada, congrats on making your first buck 62. What I will say is that once you're promoted to Elite writer status, you'll be earning much more than 5 bucks per 500 words. The average earning per 500 word articles is $8.00. By the time you're Elite, you should also have some "private" clients on iwriter sending you personal requests, which will likely pay more than that. I know many people that are full-time writing on iWriter.

Well done and keep at it- learning how to improve the quality of your writing is a great goal and will pay you dividends in the future once you start writing your own content. In the meantime, writing articles can be a profitable side line for you.

Fantastic attitude, brother (don't know why I'm saying that... I really can't stand Hulk Hogan).

Writing is a tremendous skill. And you have to keep at it to perfect it. Word of advice. Check out books like "Adweek by Joe Sugarman" and "Hypnotic Writing by Joe Vitale" (way too many Joes in this world...). These 2 books alone taught me a lot about writing to engage the senses.

Don't forget folks... whether it's content or a sales letter... their purposes are to compel prospects.
