If you are not, DO THINGS THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY!! CHANGE SOMETHING!

from my mystical schooling .. i like the diagram ..

it is simple ..but the false premise .. is that it is what you are doing that makes you happy..

the key is to be happy then do what keeps you happy

I think key to happiness lies in finding it in whatever you're doing, not necessarily changing the doing. Though there is certainly some stuff that really can interfere with happiness.

Happiness depends on the necessity of a human-being. If your necessity is a little and you can manage them easily, then you'll be happy. It's real and universe.

If changing something, can't you make things worse? I think the change should be a positive change or to something that you like to do. That will lead to happiness. Cool post, by the way.

Well, sometimes, you don't have to change your life to be happy and contented. Sometimes, you just need to change or choose whom you deal with in your day-to-day living whether it's about business or not.

Thanks for the cool diagram.

Well, I just remembered a TV show I watched last night. A man confessed to his wife that he got another woman pregnant. And well, the wife told him to be accountable for the child, even though it hurts her (especially considering that she and her husband can't have a child of their own). She decided not to allow that to devastate her because she chooses to be happy.
So the lesson there is this: Happiness is a choice. Painful things come but it's up you whether to let those destroy you or make you a stronger person.

  Why yes, yes I am!

One of my favorite quotes about being happy is this, and it works I might add.

There comes a time in life when you have to let go of all the pointless drama in your life and the people that create it, and surround yourself with people who make you laugh so hard that you forget the bad and focus solely on the good! After all, life is too short to be anything but happy!

I don't know the author to the above quote, but I'm sure that we are kindred spirits. Drama and happiness can't co-exist together and the best part is the we have the power to choose which one will rule our lives.

I started off happy, then got stuck in a loop for an hour and quickly became unhappy. The graphic told me to keep doing what I'm doing, and I was reading the graphic, so I kept starting over.

Yes, I am happy. I am truly blessed. I am grateful for everything I have now. I married my best friend, we have a good kid and life is good.

Whenever I'm feeling down, I remember to count my blessings. It works for me.

If you're not happy, start pretending that you are. Your brain can't tell the difference between what's real and what's imagined, so after a while it'll be tricked into feeling happy for real....
because really, there's a trillion reasons to be happy every day and only thousands of reasons to not be happy. It's all about where you're focusing, isn't it?

Are you really happy with your life? The answer lies in daily actions. If you are healthy – mentally and physically both, then you are obviously happy. Happiness differs from one to others. But the common requirements – financial stability, healthy body, good family etc make someone happy. I personally always feel happy - I have financial stability, I am quite fit in health and I am satisfied with my family.

I would say I am working on it.

Well, I don't walk around the house with a permanent smile on my face but I wouldn't say I am depressed either. Somewhere in the middle. Ups and downs.

I am happy, but I dont fully agree with this statement. I dont think you need to change yourself. I think you have to change your thoughts. Happiness is a decision you have to make. The parameters which you have to define. To change ones self all of a sudden would be a huge undertaking. To start changing your thoughts is a small task. One thought at a time.

I am happy, although I will say that ever since I quit my job three months ago and became my own boss, I am not as happy as I thought I would be. Maybe it's because I blamed some of the unhappiness in my life on my job and thought it would all be solved when I was my own boss

I also suffer a bit from being lonely working at home by myself, staring at a computer screen all day

But it sure beats the alternative of being forced to go to a job every day!

If you are asking right now? I am not because the Comment page of my blog does not work. But overall, I am. And that's what happiness really is. We cannot be happy all the time. Those who are are in mental wards.
