The REAL Reason Why You Buy So Many WSO's

The real reason the majority of people buy WSO's or any IM products is because...

They dont believe they have what it takes

They dont believe they know enough already

They dont have the CONFIDENCE that they can do it themselves and are looking for someone else to fill them up with a little bit of self esteem

Most people who buy products compulsively are really both:

1. Lacking in confidence
2. Afraid of failure

This twin is an absolute killer for success online.

Accept these facts:

1. Failure is a requirement for success, so enjoy failure
2. You have a brain and thats all you really need to make money online, use your own head instead of letting others do your thinking for you

If you fail, so what, so does everyone.

You didnt get upset when you fell off the first time you tried to ride a bike,

Dont get upset because the first time you tried to start an internet marketing business you didnt make money.

Get back on the bike.

        Very vaild points.

I would throw something else in as a reason people buy so many WSOs...

not wanting to do any work.

People want the push button solution, so if a WSO says it offers that solution, they buy it. Then, when they realise that, lo and behold, there is work involved, they don't follow it through.

Then another WSO catches their eye, promising another push button solution, and out comes the credit card...!

        Cheers,
        Gordon

Although what you are saying is correct, there is an element of not differentiating between a business and a hobby. A hobby makes an odd sale and it needs work and commitment to turn into a sustainable business. If you are still in the buying mode then you are not ready to commit to your business

People fail for a lot of different reasons. The one you listed is just one of many, but hardly true for the vast majority of people. Not to mention, almost all successful people have failed at some point along the way; they learned from it and kept moving forward until they succeeded.

Correct. IM is an (online) entrepreneurial venture, and not everybody has what it takes to be an entrepreneur.

I think you missed out the fact that some people are also lazy or don't have the time to do the work that's really needed be successful online and they are looking for an easy solution to making money, when in reality it doesn't exist.

I don't buy many WSO. Only those which I feel are really useful. But I read reviews first, check for moneyback guarantee and only then purchase.

I don't agree with that. People usually buy things for one of two reasons.

    1 -- Fear of loss
    2 -- Hope of gain

In IM I believe the majority of buyers fall under that second umbrella:

    "Hope of Gain".

People are buying the dream. The dream of walking into their boss and handing in their resignation. The dream of working from home in their pajamas. The dream of the porsche. The dream of the money and the hot girls. The dream of the warm beach holidays.

THAT is why most people buy IM products.

Woah, woah.... WOAH! Back the truck up here.

I didn't buy that WSO because I was A) Lacking in confidence or B) Afraid of failure!

The Lord knows I have all the confidence in the world... and afraid of failure? Puh-leeze! I just plunked down my hard-earned $7 bucks to buy this damn thing!

You know what I could've bought with that kind of cash?!?!

I'll tell you why I bought that WSO. Because I'm looking for this!

The sales copy advertised my one-push easy button in RED (like pictured above), but, but, BUT... I really wanted it in GREEN!

Oh and it wanted me to actually do an hour of work to even get the damn button to operate correctly! The nerve...

You know what I could've done in that time?

So I closed the damn PDF file and screamed REFUND! Got my $7 back!

But wait. Check this out! I found another WSO that advertised the GREEN easy button... AND say's I only need to work FIVE-MINUTES everyday to get it to work!

Woohoo. I think that's the one for me!

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

The same reason people fell into investment scams. They are looking for easy money without having to do the work.

The "push button" argument is over-rated.

There are the push-button hopefuls, the push-button
    seekers and the push-button shirkers.

You'll be surprised to know that many people are ALSO
looking for the exact opposite of a push-button scheme.

They're searching for METHODS that work.

And if they can't get the method to work, they continue
    searching...

And eventually they get stuck in a cycle of habit. They
get poisoned by information addiction, leading to small
    success.

Many of my students were like that. They wanted things
to work, but they simply didn't have a lot of resources,
the right time, the right knowledge, and all of those
    crucial things.

You can't treat these people as a bunch of ignoramuses.
They're like that because they're unsure! Even I,
even many of the others who first started out were like
    that.

There are of course, a lot of psychological principles
attached... such as the bombardment of emotional hot
    buttons from sales copy.

Which sane prospect can resist the temptation of a
    good offer/bargain?

You make a great point though, for the ones who are
still searching for the easiest-way-out. They're
probably either perfectionists or people who haven't
realized that most of those push-button things simply
    don't work.

This is true, WSOs offer 'hope', the hope that the next WSO you get will be the one. But ya, there simply isn't any WSO that will magically make money for you without you putting in the work.

I only buy WSO if I really can't do that before I get my dateline.
    Just that.

Trying harder will give more. That's a good quote I thought.
WSO will not be bad if we know the right time we have to buy.

What about the people that are new to IM and just getting started?

Everyone has to start some where.

I personally never bought a WSO. Came to the forums 6 months in. I wasn't looking for some thing to make money with. I was looking for a better understanding in IM.

If I started here, I would of bought a few WSO's. That's how you learn. Think how many websites, blogs, sales pages, squeeze pages you have looked at when you first started.

WSO's are no different. You buy them to learn. Most people are not looking for a fast way to make money. There looking for any way to make money online.

All people see is fast money ideas. So they think that it's easy to make money online when its not. So you have a newbie that buys a few WSO's thinking this is how you make a business online.

What did they learn from it - there are no WSO's that will get you a business online. You have to make your own product and get your own customers. Then relize all the WSO's that say make $xx,xxx in 30 days is BS. So then they find the last product they will buy. The one that tells them how to start an online business with no "fast cash" in site.

I bet over 75% of sales with WSO's are from newbies trying to grasp the idea of Internet Marketing. Is this bad-YES. Now you have an newbie making a fast cash WSO for the next newbie to buy. Then that newbie does the same thing and so on.

So why do you buy so many WSO's. Because none of them will work for a newbie. They are a waste of time for newbies.

How are they going to make fast money or any money when they don't even understand what IM is. Then try to learn IM from some WSO. And they buy another one trying to learn more and so on.

Some will agree some don't. It's depend how you look the person who buy the WSO. It's matter of point of view. Correct Me If I'm Wrong.
