Fear of failure. When you've set something up and you're proud of it, the fear of rejection from others is unbelievable. It happens to me each time. In life, in love, with my work. It holds me back for a while. i sit on things for far too long. But then I take that step. I've had a few failures. But i've succeeded in a lot too. And I think back to my successes now every time that fear seeps back in. i guess age helps.

Fear of failure... is the discomfort of letting go of all the self-imposed obstacles we create for ourselves.

So essentially, you're afraid of challenging the limiting beliefs you created about what's inherently possible for you.

    Think about that.

    Next...

Acknowledge you created these limiting beliefs, no matter how many times you've proven them right in your experience of reality... they are still your creation.

The profits you generate in your business is a direct result of your beliefs about money.

Embrace the discomfort. It's letting you know everything you believe is being challenged...

    ...and that's a good thing!

Biggest fear, spend too much time and energy on my business.
Instead on my two young kids. They are more important to me then the extra money.

I used to think it was fear, but I've realized that I've got more courage than I once thought.

What I really think is the problem now is the belief that others' needs are more important than my own. I tend to spend a lot of time doing things for other people and neglecting my own work (and other needs).

    Interesting question to ponder.

I'm not afraid of failure, but I hate having people criticize me. Every time I launch something new, I know that there will always be a minority of people who don't like it, and it's hard for me to get over that.

Give me an example of how you'd invest in your business that will NOT pay off.

Are you talking about driving traffic?

        Creating products?

        Copy?

        Sales funnel?

        Video production?

        Website/graphic design?

        All of the above?

At first it was fear but then after overcoming that fear of rejections and failures I came to realize that it is a part of everything, especially on business.

So my fear now it not enough knowledge. Which is why I join forums like this to address that fear. I fear that I need to learn about everything all at once, however I do not know where to start. Lack of essential basic knowledge on everything is kind of scary as the person you are against is your own ability.

GO. MOVE. Keep GOING! Even with the smallest steps and slower paces, the important thing is you are NOT STOPPING! You'll get there!

      Two things:
I think I am the opposite of most people and I think I have 1) a fear of success and not failure and 2) A lack of focus and drive on ONE task. I get distracted to easily, so I'll start a project or task, work at it flat out like a lizard drinking for a day, two, maybe a week, maybe a month and then just drop it like no tomorrow when the next shiny thing comes along. No sure if that is linked to a belief or is just a behavior and were that behavior is rooted.
